"Deluxe Suite - Lovely and Large!"
Wonderful stay at Louisa's Place! We had a deluxe suite, which was lovely and large, with a conservatory that had a perfect reading nook. I was sick, so I spent more time in the room than I originally thought - it was perfect for when you're not feeling well as well. Very comfortable.
We visited Berlin at the beginning of December for the Christmas Markets and general sightseeing.A perfect break is made not just by the place you visit, but also by the place you stay in.I have nothing but praise for the staff ,at all levels. for their courtesy, politeness and helpfulness. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely suite, warm and comfortable.I would recommend this hotel to anybody and we ourselves hope to visit again.
"Very nice suite"
The suites here are very large, comfortable and luxurious. We had a reasonable deal on a deluxe suite and very much enjoyed the space to relax and unwind. The staff were impeccable and the chamber staff meticulous. The pool is a good size in an attractive and nicely lit room but a couple of degrees too cold or me. The sauna and steam room were a great temperature, very hot. When the steam was not on the room smelled a bit sweaty, the steam is nicely scented however. Perhaps we were just unlucky with the previous occupants. We did not try breakfast unfortunately as I have heard it is great. At around 20€ each this is very expensive, and unfortunately the restaurant is also very pricey. There are lots of great restaurants near by and should you want you can cook in the suite's kitchen. We would have tried both the breakfast and dinner had they been in a similar price range to other local restaurants. I understand the food is excellent here. Finally the hotel is located along the Kurfurstendamm which would take about an hours walk to the centre museums etc. With hindsight as we enjoy walking in cities to enjoy the feel of them, this was just a little too far to be able to do that, which of course we knew when booking (It is however well served by the U and S bahn) but you may wish to consider that when deciding if this is the ideal hotel. Thank you to everyone at Louisa's place for making us welcome.
This hotel had the best service that I have seen in a hotel. They even contacted us beforehand to find our what we would like to have in the mini bar, etc. Even my coffee request was taken care of, so that I had two different types of coffee and machines. They did everything they could to insure that we would have a great stay. They provide any newspapers, tickets, expertise possible. It was really an amazing stay. The suite was enormous, and all though we had views of two different streets from our room, we didn't hear a thing from outside. Really nice. The spa area was also very nice.
"Splendid, spacious, quiet"
A lovely hotel in every aspect. We had a junior suite, which was immense (even included a dishwasher and a washing machine). Extremely comfortable and very quiet. We used the well-equipped kitchen for breakfast, so didn't eat in the hotel. It's at the less commercial end of Ku'Damm, and there are lots of good restaurants and bars within a short walk. Staff was very helpful. My only trifling, purely gringo complaint is that I wish they added more BBC channels to the TV (there's only BBC News) - Sky doesn't cut it. For what you're getting, this is an incredibly good deal.
