"Bosszantó apróságok, de nem rossz"
A szobák tiszták, naponta takarítanak. To summarize in English: the rooms are comfortable, clean, everything is working regularly, including the air conditioner. Foods are nice, the chef is a nice guy. Tue prices are reasonable. Negativities: safe and wifi is pay to use, and still slow. The waiters are rude and usually don't speak any English. This was our honeymoon, yet we didn't receive any special welcome. Conclusion: 4 points.
"Not what I expected"
Our family holiday consisted of myself my partner and my 7 year old daughter . We have been to Tenerife 4 times before as we absolutely love the island but we wouldn't stay at the gala again . We were put next door to a party of young boys who were partying till all hours of the morning , and we had to put up with that for a whole week . The food was very basic not a lot of choice at all and very similar every night . Rooms were very small and cramped and evening entertainment was very poor .
"Brilliant Hotel "
Really enjoyed our stay! The rooms were nice & clean. The air conditioning was brilliant! The food was good a lot to choose from but can be a bit chaotic at times. The pool area was fab, one shallow pool & one deep. Plenty of sun beds for everyone didn't matter what time. The pool activities was fab & got everyone involved. Plenty of entertainment on a night, just a shame it wasn't in English. Close to the strip, restaurants, beach & plenty of other activities. All in all a really good hotel will definitely be recommending!
"Good and bad "
Well it's day 3 of my holiday at the gala hotel . Whilst I can't complain about the rooms the pool area the food is another matter this hotel doesn't cater for the Great British in anyway shape or form when it comes to food and when you are finaly aloud in to get the food that is on offer it has gone cold . To all my British fellow travellers especially families with children find some different accommodation. Please be aware I never normal slate hotels but this time I'm going to they desperately need to rethink the menu and cater for all nationalities
"Clean rooms, modern, ok hotel"
There are some good points to this hotel firstly the rooms are VERY clean and modern, lovely air con, you feel nice and safe, you can hear the entertainment from the hotel opposite which is a good thing if you sit in the outdoor area as the entertainment in gala is all in German, Spanish and french. However the bad points are majority of staff appear to have a very unfriendly rude attitude, with the exception of the guy who teaches aqua gym who is great, the one nice guy on reception who was the only decent one on there our entire trip and a couple of nice waiters ( the ones who take the drinks orders are not so friendly, ordered a water which just never came so on the 2nd night took our own drink in and was told off and had our glasses removed off the table ). food was same old , there was one nice chef and another who made a few inappropriate comments, on one evening i asked if the meat was chicken that he was cooking, he replied pork, i turned to my boyfriend and said it was pork, the chef then started shouting its pork, pig oink oink, then the second time he asked if i wanted 1 or 2 slices of meat to which i said one please and he was like hmmmm for now, which made me feel uncomfortable like i was greedy. the location is right by the strip so sadly whenever u leave the hotel u are harassed by the several bars and pubs, asking you to go in for food, they are very pushy even if you say you have eaten and i heard a couple mutter stuff under their breath after you said no. then you are harassed to buy glasses bags etc. some beautiful areas u can walk too, but if u want something a little less hassle free, more welcoming accommodating to British i wouldn't book hotel gala.
