"Fantastic, Friendly hotel"
Such a lovely hotel, in a good place in town! The staff are brilliant, so friendly. When we arrived we were greeted by a door man who was very friendly and chatty! The executive room was amazing! Very comfy!

Had a two night stay here 20th March. There are a few things that you would expect from a four star hotel. Stayed in room 829 it took us 20mins to find the draws to put our clothes in only to find there is none (on closer inspection we find that the unit in the wardrobe has been turned round so you have to stand inside the wardrobe to try to slot you clothes in. Both mornings at breakfast we had to ask for teaspoons and napkins. Also there seems to be a lack of salt even the waitress could only find pepper. Only one lift working so rather a long wait to get to the 8th floor. We have stayed in this chain of hotels before but must say rather disappointed with this one. On the positive side staff very friendly and helpful.

I stayed for two nights whilst in town for business. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the station. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Unfortunately my room could have been a little cleaner. I found a toenail clipping on the bedroom floor, and stains on the bathroom floor and bathroom counter.
"Little things wrong but too many of them"
Only 1 lift was working throughout our 3 day stay My colleague was given a room that hadn't been made up despite checking in after 4pm. My key card stopped working on day 2 and had to be changed twice. My bill was for someone with a different name but assigned to my room. My colleagues bill was wrong also Food was excellent however especially the steak and ale pie.

Great location, within a few hundred yards of Piccadilly station. We arrived early but the staff at reception were great at checkin, looking after our luggage until the room was ready. It was worth waiting for, large with a superb panoramic view and a roomy bathroom. Unfortunately, our dinner was bad news: the food was average at best (the glazed carrots were overcooked and inedible) and we had to wait for half an hour before our orders were served. The standard charge for service was 12.5 percent which we should have asked to be reduced. The food and service at breakfast was very different - a good experience. Overall, the staff were very helpful and friendly.
