Seriously run down since we were last here . No porters. New Staff are either quite arrogant or clueless. The rooms looked tired and take note the connecting rooms/family rooms are very small .The heated pool was closed so much for a heated pool kids were very disappointed. We had a sick child who had been throwing up all night . We left early morn to take her to the hospital asked to have the room cleaned we were back from the hospital by 11am our rooms were still dirty. By 6pm Our rooms had still not been cleaned even though we had called reception a number of times to complain. I had to go down to the reception to complain before someone was finally sent to clean the rooms.
"It was ok... great for kids "
Stayed at the Magic circus whilst visiting Disney just before new year. On first arriving at the hotel Your greeted with a circus theme entrance which my daughter loved then you walk in and smell a funny smell and it all kind of went down hill from there. Went to check in about 20 mins early but was told we would have to wait around for our room was offered a key for the luggage room so we could come back but we just waited. Hotel Didn't seem too busy considering the time of year. Lobby area is ok few toys and arcades for kids and a shop but you have to pay for it all. Once we got our keys we went up to see the rooms. Very basic they did have a circus theme too which my 3 year old loved but she don't see what is adults see. The room was very tired and run down and could do with some new carpets, curtains and a paint job. The carpets weren't clean and paint was chipping off everything but it was ok. Bedding was clean and bathroom was clean so not awful just not anything special. We was only sleeping here to not to bad. Rooms were spacious and had enough room to keep out clothes ect. Tea and coffee making facilities in room and fridge and a safe. Had mixed reviews on staff on reception some were helpful some just seemed like they didn't want to be there which we put down to it being the day after Christmas. Went down to breakfast early so hardly ever had to que. was always shown to table and your given a reserved sign to keep your table whilst you go get food. There was an OK selection of food. A few hot bits Eggs, sausage, mushrooms and bacon and then pastries, toast, cereal cold meats, cheese ect we all found something to eat and then was juice, water, tea, coffee and hit chocolate. Shuttle bus was good came every 10 mins never too full Used the pool area once was very cold but no one was in there which was nice daughter enjoyed. Unisex changing rooms. Ate at the bar one night food and drinks are over priced and your better off eating in Disney believe it or not. What we had was nice and enjoyable but not worth the money for burger and chips Overall it was an OK stay don't expect too much but breakfast is ok and the kids will prob love it if your only sleeping there and you find a good deal and don't mind dirty carpets then it's worth booking as location and shuttle bus is handy if you want something a little more special or your just a couple I wouldn't recommend this place for you
Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Check in was very quick and easy, everything was explained to us there and then! Room was very clean and spacious with a king sized bed and bunk beds! Breakfast was exactly what we were expecting, your typical continental all you can eat buffet! Staff were great at keeping on top of changing the food, nothing was ever left out for too long! The onsite Disney shop was a nice touch with lots of lovely Disney gifts and also sold essentials such as toothpaste, deodorant etc. The free shuttle bus picked up from the the hotel every 10-15 minutes and dropped you off right outside Disneyland gates! We caught one of the earlier buses and one of the last buses on our first day both buses were extremely busy but this was as expected! On our second day we waited until later in the day to catch the bus which wasn't busy at all! We ate at the hotel bar one lunch time, food wasn't too expensive (a homemade pizza around €12) although drinks were very pricey (a small glass of coke €4.90).All staff were very friendly and helpful, and we loved the circus theme which ran throughout the hotel! Would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Disneyland!
"Disney Trip "
Stayed here for couple of days in Disney. Good hotel. Easy check in and out. Use of room to store luggage so can get on with reason your here. Easy to get to and from park on bus which every 20 mins. If you travelling hand luggage then all toiletries can be purchased from machine in hotel lobby. Just what you want.
The kids loved the theme and it was great having to adjoining rooms for the kids and my husband and I. The issues I had was that the shower would drip all night and the sound drove me crazy, there was a light out in the bathroom and the other was flickering. The door handle between our two rooms was also broken so it fell out every time we pulled the handle. Th breakfast buffet was good, dinner was expensive. I recommend looking for food elsewhere in the area. the pool was closed during the open hours posted with no explanation why. On the upside the shuttle was running constantly so we did not have to wait to go to and from disney. I brought my issues up to the desk and they said they would send someone up to fox it but we were there for 4 days and no one came.
