"Another paradise island"
From the moment we landed we were greeted and escorted through customs to our private chauffeured car and driven to Maia Luxury Hotel, which we visited last year and knew that we would be getting first class treatment. We were escorted to our beach villa which was a different one to the one we had last year which we found even better and was greeted by our own private butler which was First Class. From the moment we arrived to when we left 12 nights later was sheer luxury and every member of staff was first class. We had a most fantastic time, excellent food, champagne, wine, and every evening was brought a cocktail and savouries which we had on our beach watching the sunset. Every little detail was exquisite. We have a a truly amazing time and we hope to revisit again hopefully next year.
"Once in a lifetime type of place!"
My boyfriend & I came here for our anniversary & we were completely blown away. The views were magnificent and our Butler, Vivi was incredible & made our night very special. Best hotel I've stayed at.
As owner of Explore Inc in the USAI have been to Maia 3 times over the years and it only gets better.. the service is unparalleled, food diverse and fresh, villas beyond belief. There is no place like it on earth! As a tour operator it is always my #1 choice for the Indian Ocean.
Had a very nice week at Maia. Very private, very nice beach and very good in villa service. Villas are spacy, comfortable, even with two kids and in good shape. We never joined the TecTec restaurant, which seemed rather dark and some stuff is not close enough to client or lack basic knowledge (bar, cocktails). Spa is definitely to recommend, massage unbeliveable. Fitness-Gym is very small, but good enough for some workout. Many thanks to Buddhika for the outstanding support and all the arrangements. He made a memorable stay for us. Pricing meets the expectations.
"Perfect relaxing getaway!"
I stayed in April with a friend. We had beachfront villas next to each other connected via a little path through the garden. Everything about this stay was perfection. It really was one of the most lovely times I've had at a hotel. With its gorgeous, soft, white sand, the quiet beach was great for swimming or relaxing. And we had direct access to it through the garden of my villa. I know there was a pretty public pool area but we really didn't use it. The ocean was perfect for swimming at the time of our visit and each of our villas came with a beautiful private plunge pool as well. We took a cooking class with chef while we were there and made Seychellois fish curry, which we both loved. The coconut cake is really lovely as well. Our butler Kamini was brilliant, kind and professional and helped us to make the most of our stay. Really amazing. She was just the best. The staff at the spa was amazing as well, Nyoman, Sri, every single person! I often find spa experiences at hotels are expensive but a little disappointing. Maia's spa was different. Really special. In fact, the services provided were so good, that we went back many times to try new ones over the course of our stay. We were always thrilled with the experience. We did massages, scrubs, everything. We also went for yoga each day! Sometimes we did a private session, instructors came to our villa. The one-on-one feedback was amazing. Again, I would highly recommend it! There is so much do do there, and it is also a lovely place to sit back and take a break from doing too much. All in all, we found Maia Resort to be a little slice of perfection and we'll remember our time there always. I hope some day to return!
