"Good hotel and very comfortable room."
Stayed there in December 2016, booked three rooms. Amazing landmark, the elevators accessing lobby to the mall does get very busy before and after prayer. Excellent location, nice breakfast and very comfortable bed with good staff and excellent service. Would definitely return back.
"The best view any one can have ever."
We stayed in this luxury hotel during our visit to Makka. We chose it as it stands like a landmark in the middle of this crouded city so we won't lose our way. The family suit which we stayed at was very wide with one separate room which has its private rest room. The rest of the suit had its awn rest room and kichen area as well as a cosy sofa along with the sleep area. This hotel has the best bedding stuff i've ever seen and used starting from the 100% cotton sheets till the feather stuffed pillows. The restaurant is a premium quality in everything and it cover all the differnt cuisines adding on this its great cleanliness. The room windows are made of very clear glass in which you can see every corner all of the city. The rooms are quite and the reception areas were decorated in such a luxurious way with very beautiful flowers in that i felt iam in heaven. Wishing to be back again.
"Very Good Hotel, Excellent Room"
Stayed in 17th December 2016 for 6 nights. 2 Adults plus 13 year old and a 6 year old. Got an upgrade as the room we ordered was a signature room which the man at the reception said maybe too small for us and he upgraded it to a junior suite at no extra cost. Excellent service. We also paid for Kaaba View, so that is what we had Masha Allah. Breathtaking. 15th floor. Room was Excellent. 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms and fully kitted out. Breakfast was included, and it was very good. Prayer room on S2 level with view of the Kaaba. Downfall was maybe the lift system which when busy can make you wait a while. Some lifts go to some floors and others to other levels. Overall a beautiful hotel and well worth the stay.
I had a chance to stay at this hotel during my recent trip to the holy city. I booked for Fairmont Gold unit which comes with dedicated check-in /out counter at level 28. Under Fairmont Gold also, guests are given access to the Gold Lounge, a great place to relax while enjoying sweets and snacks. Very much fortunate that the hotel allowed me to check in early that day. The location is great which few meters to the holy mosque. The only downside during my stay was that the staffs were having a different set of rules in terms of facility. One guy said something like this and other said something else. On another note, the breakfast was less variety though the view on 29th is breathtaking. Would love to come back.
"Royal Service with a great location"
From the start got really impressed with service (one of the best). As we were arriving early, I requested an early check-in. Before the arrival day, I received a call from the hotel confirming my time of arrival. Upon my arrival was warmly welcomed and was pleasantly surprised to see that room was available and ready, much much earlier from the official check in time. The rooms are nice and comfy and was provids with a great view of Masjid Al Haram. The room and bathroom were clean and have all the amenities offered by a hotel of this category The power plug socket option available in the room are Type C, E&F of EU hence, a converter would be required. Some of the power plugs sockets were not working beside the bed (Room#603) Buffet breakfast is provided at the 29th floor, which i presume is the highest restaurant location in the vicinity. The restaurant provides a great view of the Makkah city so table beside the window is usually picked up. The options in the breakfast are pretty amazing, as various options are available which may suit anyone. Service was pretty quick and tables get cleans frequently. We were also asked about the food taste and menu items, upon exiting the restaurant which shows management cares about the service. To mention, to reach the rooms from Masjid / car park, one has to take a lift from the mall/tunnel entrance to the lobby and than on wards with the designated lifts. Staff as mentioned is professional and courteous. On SL floor within the hotel, there is also a Mosque which is connected with Adhan sound of Masjid Al Haram For cleanliness, as earlier mentioned the room and restaurant were clean upto the mark of the standard of a 5 star hotel but the corridors were not. One can see still left overs from cleaning on carpets and plastic bags placed in trash bins not cleaned regular. There was large trash bag placed in the corridor which was not picked by the cleaning staff for considerable time.
