"Nice solution for business and touristic use, good rate !"
Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Staff at reception is kind and check in is fast Room was nice well equipped, modern and with good mattress. I also tested the restaurant that was surprisingly good, but the atmosphere in the dining room is a bit too dark for my point of view. Hotel is 20 min walk to the red square and 5 min to the metro station, that for Moscow is acceptable. Overall I would say that the price paid is a very good value for money
"Great Place to Stay near the Kremlin"
I lived here for almost 6 months and the place is fantastic. Service, food, location, room quality and service are al excellent. I even arranged a party there and they did an awesome job. Many of great restaurant around, and even a metro station about 200 m away. Taxis using GetTaxi or Uber are really fast and cheap from there. the only thing that is a little weak is the fitness center, but its got enough so that you can exercise. Spa center is really nice and friendly.
"2 night stay for business"
Excellent room, friendly check in good facilities..convenient location close to garden ring and within 15 minutes of Kremlin etc..The kitchen facilities in the room would be very useful for families..
"Great location, nice suites!"
Charming all-suite hotel in a fancy Pokrovka neighborhood. Fully equipped kitchenettes and a grocery store across the street are highly convenient. Service is quick and efficient. Breakfast could be better in quality but selection is on par with other chain hotels.
"5 star' Not."
My colleagues and I were booked into Mamaison because it was close to where we were working... So bear that in mind. It's billed as 5 star, but I don't feel it qualifies by Western or Asian standards. 4 stars, easily. Why' Room maintenance was lackadaisical - one day the bed was turned down, the next day not. One day the coffee mugs were washed out, the next day not. Random. Pluses: fairly safe neighborhood, walk to a good selection of restaurants, the Metro & Starbucks nearby, 1.4 miles walking to Red Square. Challenges: housekeeping, appearance in general, restaurant terribly depressing and only OK for breakfast, astronomical prices for a glass of wine that could be had for much less up the street. I didn't use the spa facilities, as the sauna was broken and the pool area was very dark... I think for serenity/ atmosphere. However, it made me a little afraid to peer into the dark corners. Would I stay there again' Probably, mostly because of its proximity to my clients.
