"Elegant and friendly"
MaMaison La Regina was a lovely place to spend a weekend. It felt quite luxurious, from the lit arches at the entry to the lobby to the room itself, which was quite spacious, as was the bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the restaurant agreeing to seat me 5 minutes before their announced 11 p.m. closing time--all I wanted was a salad and a glass of wine. (I didn't appreciate, however, having the duck in the salad swapped out for pastrami, without giving fair notice. Had they run out') The bathtub was long enough to stretch out in, to warm up after being drenched by rain. It was nice not to feel hemmed in, but to have space to spread out. The only challenge was dealing with 2 'twin' sized blankets/duvets. It makes sense from the perspective of being prepared to split the bed in 2 sections. But from the perspective of a single traveler who wants to sleep in the middle of the bed because that's where it's firmest, and then gets surprised when the quilt doesn't quite extend that far, it makes less sense--especially if you only discover it in the middle of the night. Forewarning would help. Wifi connection was perfect, without extra charge and without having to sign in again after every 24 hours or less, as some other hotels do. I also appreciated having control over the thermostat, although the room was too warm for me at night even with the heat off. I did ask for help opening the window to get fresh air into the room. In sum, hotel management and staff seemed to go out of their way to make guests feel welcome.
"Hidden treasure in Warsaw!"
Extremely quiet and well run small hotel within short walk to the Old Town in Warsaw. Excellent and attentive service - very good restaurant on premises. Highly recommended for business or leisure. Very reasonable compared with other boutique hotels.
"Lovely stay - like to go again"
At this hotel expectations were high. It's a cosy feel at home place. I had a lovely spacious room kind of junior suite with an outstanding bathroom - shower and bathtub. Room was very quite and I had sweet dreams. Breakfast is great - only coffee can be improve from filter coffee to cafe creme. The nice barista is there.... The pool is lovely. The only thing I didn't like is the gym machines standing at the pool side. It's just to warm there to work out. The stuff is very friendly and helpful and location is great. Walking distance to old market and old town. I will go again. But pls. work on the coffee... 👍🏼
Nicely located for exploring the "old" quarter, this high end hotel is set on a quiet cobbled street. It's a smallish hotel set in an older building but completely revamped on the inside with high end design. The lobby is spacious with available seating for reading/drinking. We had a room on the ground floor facing an inner courtyard. Windows were double paned and there were two sets of them - very quiet. The rooms were very tastefully designed and our only complaint would be that although there was a thermostat, we could not actually lower the temperature in the room which was just slightly too warm for our tastes.
"Great location and a short walk to the old town"
A wonderful, clean, quiet hotel. Very comfortable rooms and exquisite bedding. Very close walking distance to many restaurants and a charming park alongside the hotel. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.
