"Great stay but very noisy"
Liked the layout of the rooms and the kitchenette area. Beds ok but not mega comfortable. Very friendly staff and very helpful. We had a room on the first floor looking over the entrance courtyard. Very noisy room. There was some work going on in the space below and from early morning into a small part of the night all we could hear was banging and scraping of things being dragged over the floor. also noisy from the courtyard with bins being wheeled over cobbles. In three nights I did not have one nights good sleep. I could have complained but could not be bothered, however the hotel could have made us aware that there were works happening underneath the room. It is about 25 minutes quite fast walk to Old Town, so if you are hard of walking and want to visit the Old Town this may not be for you. All in all, we did like the hotel but thought that it was too noisy on this occasion. This may change once the works are finished downstairs.
"Wonderful 5 night stay."
Was very happy with my choice of accommodation. The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot. The Old Town is only 20 minutes or so away. The apartment was literally the most spacious lodging I ve had anywhere in 30 years of travel !! (though I cant say if all rooms are equally big, I was on the 5th floor where there were only 3 rooms) Massive lounge, kitchen area, large bedroom, and bathroom with hot-tub. Staff and service were excellent , friendly and helpful. The optional breakfast at 12euros was very nice though of course you have the option of buying in food to prepare. The ceilings had skylights which were controlled by remote control, such a novelty ! If I was to say anything negative just for perspective it would be that there is no coffee provided in the room and the only shower is in the hot-tub itself so you have to climb in and out . ( NOT exactly hardships !) Food in shops and meals out are very cheap with lots of dining options in the area. Recommended.
"Christmas shopping trip"
One of the best hotels i've stayed. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again, when back in Warsaw. Special thanks to the concierge Robert, who's service and help made the visit much better. Rooms were clean, beautiful and quiet. Location was excellent. Breakfest was also good. Really enjoyed my stay in Warsaw, thank you!
We stayed here for a long weekend in November and had no faults with the hotel! Apartment had everything that we needed and was extremely spacious for two people. Service was excellent and the staff were always friendly. One of the best hotels I've stayed in.
"Great place, BUT there is a catch"
It was my second stay at this property. The location is excellent with easy access to all important Warsaw sites. As during my first stayk I was upgraded, this time to even a more spacious suite. The staff could not have been more helpful. The restaurant’s pizza was very good and beer selection excellent. However, the sound of the trash containers rolling over cobble stones at midnight (from the restaurant to the staging place) and at 5:30 AM of the same containers from to/from the trash track was more than a mere nuisance. It basically meant two long wake-up calls: one just after falling asleep and another one or two hours before the time I needed to get up. The hotel staff readily acknowledged the problem and eventually offered to move me to another room, but since it was my last night, I passed. So, by all means stay at Residence Diana but make sure you ask for a room on a high floor and away from the kitchen entrance to the restaurant, unless 5-6 hour carefully timed sleep is all you need.
