"Nice boutique hotel but mind you..."
We got to the hotel on a Friday at 3PM and we were not impressed at first. The parking lot was full - only four cars in front of the Hotel. We walked into the place and the check in was quick and nice - we were offered coconut water in champagne glasses and cashew nuts. The hotel seems to understand it is expected to provide a service. The pool is not Huge but neither is the Hotel. If you are looking for a tradicional 10 story tall Hotel you are at the wrong place - this is a three story tall Hotel. Fancy elevators don't exist. You Will have to climb up and down stairs all the time. The view from the pool is fantastic - the Hotel is in front of the beach and depending on the room you get you will sleep with the sound of the sea and be awakened by it. Hotel workers are very nice and friendly. As for the room it is very comfortable although the mattress could be better. Location then is a great asset because you may walk back and forth among the Hotel , the beach and restaurants around (6 blocks walk). By the way, we have tried the Hotel restaurant. The food was very good but portions were too small and expensive. Air conditioning works very well. Pool towels are folded in a neat and delicate way. They are at your disposal to set a sunshade on the beach. They care.
"Top Notch Beach Lodging in Natal"
I rarely give a 5 star review, I mean, there is always something right' But a short 2 night stay at the Manary Praia was truly perfect. Natal is not Brazil's best looking city, but the Manary has a great location. Right on Natal's most popular tourist beach and just a short drive to the sand dunes and beach, as well as about an easy hour to the wonderful tourist beach at Pipa. The staff was amazing, from check in to check out. Friendly, professional and efficient. My wife realized that she had left her laptop at the front desk about 15 minutes into our drive to the airport. She called the hotel, and they had a staff member waiting on the curb with it when we returned. She just had to roll down her window, and he refused a tip. Close to most of the TA highest rated dinning establishments. And also two arts and craft markets recommended by the front desk. This is a boutique style hotel that would be at home in South Beach FL. Wonderful design and decorations, The room was very comfy, with a nice mattress, well decorated, HD TV with Sky Cable, great wifi signal, clean, spotless. Spacious bathroom, good shower with lots of hot water (not common in Brazil). We had a very good meal in the TA highly rated bistro, and had drinks there before turning in every night. Try the Caprisake, a version of Brazil's national drink using sake instead of cachaca. Really smooth and not as strong. My final rating is always based on whether or not we would stay at the Manary if we return to Natal, and in this case, we would not stay anywhere else.
"Charming hotel with great service "
This is a must place to stay in Natal. The ambience, the decor, the restaurant...the minute you arrive until you leave everything is great! The spa service is great. We can not wait to come back to this hotel next trip to Natal.
"Just great "
This hotel is great! Great service, location, environment and their restaurant is actually moore than great. In Europe it's should have a Michelin star The only thing to complain about is the breakfast. There is only one person working and it doesn't work during rush. My suggestion is to choose this friendly and cosy hotel in Natal.
This was a lovely hotel with an an excellent staff and a lovely location. The rooms are all clean spacious and have hammocks and the staff very friendly and helpful when organising trips, The restaurant is great and it is nice to be slightly away from the main centre at Ponte Negra. We were a family of 4 and in general it was a romantic couples place but that was not a problem have children there.
