"The best hotel I've stayed at in years"
I travel 45+ weeks a year and needed a nice, mellow weekend with my mate. I booked this property on Hyatt points. I simply couldn't have been happier. What a beatiful property in a beautiful setting. This is everything you hope your hotel will be. BEAUTIFUL hotel and the view from the room was amazing. The staff was amazing and the housekeeping team were top notch. I will be back here whenever I can arrange it.
"Nice high end option for San Diego"
Great quality hotel ... stayed two nights food was excellent although a bit pricey it was value for money .. room size perfect (took business package with breakfast included ) breakfast buffet was high quality parking should really be included... hotel and food outlet staff were really great friendly
"Nice conference hotel with great amenities and a superb location"
I recently stayed at this hotel for a conference for the second time in six years. The updates to the hotel, particularly in the rooms, are very noticeable and nice. The staff us very friendly here. Although this is a very busy hotel, the check in was a breeze and the registration, concierge and bell staff were very nice and knowledgeable. The views from the rooms are amazing and the location of the hotel is great and there are many shops and restaurants and the Gaslamp district which are all walkable from the hotel. The conferenced facilities were also top notch. The food and drink at the hotel were likewise good. They should improve the breakfast/brunch product at the Seaview. Very limited selection and overpriced. The rooms were also very clean.
Valet parking was an unbelivable $$50 per night' Huge ripoff, Breakfast buffet was Ok but had to pay extra for juice and coffee. Room was ok but worn. Good location with many restaurants and stores in walking distance
"Comfortable and relaxing stay"
I always stay here when I go to San Diego. I love that they are quick to check you in and are welcoming. The room is always clean and the hotel itself is always very peaceful and quiet. If you are getting away to relax, this is a nicely located hotel near Gas lamp. You get the convenience of being located within a mile of Gas lamp, but without the crazy hustle and bustle of the party goers. The only downside is parking is quite expensive, but that can be expected of downtown. Cheesecake Factory is also only a short walk away from the hotel as well. I've enjoyed my stay each time I've come here.
