Great atmosphere and event. The cocktails were delicious and the food they created to pair with was phenomenal. Can't stress enough the warm and professional service of the entire F&B team. Definitely a must go destination when in Macau
Excellent hotel. Great room and facilities, especially the pool overlooking the lake. Helpful and friendly staff. It is quite far away from the main Cotai casinos - which for us was a positive, but for others might not be. The spa was very good too, but a bit expensive. One note: they made two mistakes in our bill - charging us for something included in the room rate, and charging the room rate twice. They were proactive in identifying their mistake (via email, a couple of days later) and the refund arrived about ten days after that. But I recommend checking the bill carefully as there seems to be some deficiencies in the billing system.
"Weekend get away"
Excellent hotel. Great food and rooms. Good value for the money. Take a taxi to where you want to go. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is more upscale and trendy. We really enjoyed our stay.
"Stunning and Superb!"
We were pleasantly welcomed by the Porter and was assisted with our luggage. The nice lady at the front desk named Jessica handled our check-in smoothly. Our room was already available at 1pm and we were also upgraded to Deluxe Lake View. Jessica escorted us to our room, explained the amenities and she introduced the facilities of the hotel. The Deluxe Lake View has a stunning view of Macau. It was nicely set up for honeymooners and there’s a cake prepared for us as well. Sweet. The room is spacious and immaculately clean. It’s equipped with safety deposit box, wall mounted LCD TV, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, hairdryer, separate toilet and shower room with double shower knob, bath tub and TV in the bathroom. They use Aromatherapy for bathroom amenities. Wifi connection is fast. The bed and pillows are heavenly comfortable. We stayed in the room the whole day and just ordered dinner in Room Service. Our Room Service dinner was delivered fast, earlier than the expected time. I ordered pizza and asked for its size. I was informed that it’s 12 inches but was later on advised that it’s only 9 inches. The nice gentleman who served our food order (I forgot his name) apologized for the misinformation and provided complimentary fruit platter as courtesy. It was not a big deal and it’s not an issue at all but the nice gesture was deeply appreciated. We had buffet breakfast at Vida Rica Restaurant. We were seated by the window and coffee/tea was immediately offered. They serve Asian and Western cuisine. The food variety is limited but all of my favourites are available. They have different fresh juices, 6 or 7 kinds of cheese, cold cuts, breads and pastries with variety of marmalades and spreads, egg station, pancake and waffle station, Churros and donuts, fresh yogurt, cereals and muesli, Asian noodles/soup station, dumplings, fresh fruits and egg tart! Yum! The restaurant is cozy and comfortable. The male manager (he’s not wearing any name plate) visited our table. He advised us about the weather forecast and to bring umbrella if we will go out. Wonderful. We checked Vida Rica Bar in the afternoon and I was amazed with its design. The details and concept of the restaurant is impressive. The crystal chandelier is really stunning. We didn't have a chance to try the bar so maybe on our next stay. They only have two restaurants, Lobby Lounge and Vida Rica. The swimming pool is under maintenance when we visited but Grand Lapa is their alternative. They have fitness studio and Spa as well. The hotel has a peaceful location. The vicinity is quiet but it’s walking distance to the main district. There’s a mall beside the hotel with luxurious shops. Alex from the front desk conducted courtesy call to check how our stay was and complimentary late checkout was provided as the hotel was not full. Lovely. The nice Japanese Lady from the front desk handled our check-out speedy. It was indeed a great and memorable stay! Thanks to Mandarin Oriental Macau!!! We will definitely stay again!
"Outstanding hotel in Macau"
I spent three nights here recently, and can recommend this hotel to all. The rooms were good and very well appointed. There are lots of extras which you can expect from a chain with this reputation. Food options within the hotel are excellent and so is the bar area. I had a really good stay and would definitely consider another visit if the opportunity presents itself.
