"Literally a hidden gem"
Mandarin Oriental Prague is in the middle of Malá Strana. The property has a boutique hotel touch. The architecture is lovely. The staff are lovely and tentative. Kudos to the Chinese intern at the front desk. I forget his name, but he helped us a lot during our stay. We were staying at a room with an access to the beautiful yard. Although it was not on the big side, it was spacious enough. There is a hallway near our room that is wowingly gorgeous. Go find it yourself :) There are two things I wish they could do better: 1. It is 21st century and people need free wifi. 2. Spices, the hotel restaurant, serves awful Asian food. They put a ton of salt into our dishes and ruined our dinner. Given that Mandarin Oriental is from Asia, WHAT A SHAME!
"Very Quiet Good Service"
The Courtyard Rooms are lovely but small. The front desk and concierge are quite helpful. The location is excellent as the otel is easy walking to sites and good restaurants but away from the congested areas. Very good fitness center. Lobby is very small. The Spices Restaurant is a comfortable place to relax. The breakfast is average.
"Wonderful stay at the Mandarin Orientsl in Prague"
Excellent hotel. Service was the best of any hotel in Europe I have stayed at. The kindness and warmth of the staff sets this hotel apart from the rest. Will definitely go back and seek out Mandarin Hotels in other parts of the world. Breakfasts we substantial and delicious and the Spices Restuarant was very good.
"An experience I wont easily forget !!"
I got a chance to stay in the Deluxe Terrace room and was not disappointment. Spacious clean room with all necessary amenities, beautiful bathroom, brand new large t.v, and a spacious terrace to have a seat in the garden. Service through-out the stay was great, everyone being kind and welcoming. Any requests or questions were answered with sincerity. Warm thanks go out to Saskia, Aiden, and Gustavo who were just amazing. Vaclav and Gilles who helped give insightful tips about Prague. Dinner at Spices was great, service was attentive, cocktails from the bar delicious, and the food authentic. I got to experience the Thai festival which was going on that week and will still remember my first Thai sweet sticky rice experience. Slavek and Trang left a great impression and are specialists in their fields.
Excellent service, and staff. Our room was very nice with a terrace and garden view. Location was good, not great, but very quiet and peaceful at night. The walking was not strenuous at all and there is tram (trolley) service close by that can make getting around even easier.
