The hotels ambiance and amenities are impeccable. They gave my daughters a bag of popcorn while I was checking in. Breakfast selection is awesome. And the servers at the buffet breakfast are very helpful.
"Too expensive and not worth the stay "
I stayed 2 nights here in the new West wing I am always staying on Marriot properties but this one is one of the worst. The air conditioning is too noisy and I could not sleep with it turned on. If it's off it's too hot The rooms are overpriced and not worth the price paid for it Not recommended
"At Your Service......ask for Oliver."
Oliver. I can not even begin to tell you how amazing, engaging and accommodating he is and has been for me over the last several years I've been staying in Manila. He is the voice and extended family for me as I am here close to 3 months out of the year. I don't know how he manages to ALWAYS go above and beyond my expectations but he never fails. I think I've had one stay in the last 5 years where he was on vacation and I was completely lost without him. When you travel 50% of the year, it's such a joy to feel like you have an extended family in what is normally a place of strangers. In all of the hotels in all the countries I travel to his is a King and master at what he does. He has become my life line to each and every one of my stays. You're CEO and Hotel President should personally take him and his family to dinner and thank him for his passion, dedication and exceptional service to your customers. I have my own Marriott Manila hashtag that certainly holds true. #whenyoucantbehomebehere
"Gateway to Manila"
Location: This Hotel is 5-10 minutes away from NAIA (International Airport), 10-15 minutes away from Mall of Asia, 15-20 minutes away from BGC (Bonifacio Global City), 15-20 minutes away from Venice Grand Canal Mall (McKinley Hill) Price: They have Mid-Range to Luxury Rooms (depends on the season) Cleanliness: Room is clean. Beds are comfortable. All you expect from a 5 Star Hotel Food: Food are good enough. I recommend to search for a place to eat. There are so many great restaurants around. Connectivity/Entertainment: Rooms have TV and WiFi (terrible-decent speed) 4G/LTE Reception is great in this area. Staff: What can you expect from the Filipino Hospitality' World Class. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone IF your have budget.
"Make sure to drop by at Executive Lounge, West Wing"
My team held a whole day meeting at Executive Lounge, West Wing. Our team leader is checked in to this hotel. All I can say is spending time here is an awesome experience. Free flowing food and drinks fit for whole day meetings. Couches are so comfy, WIFI super fast. Plenty of tables, and seats are evenly spaced so team meetings do not disturb other people on the lounge. Large LCD TV tuned in to CNN the whole day for news monitoring. Ice cold drinks (soda, bottled water, bottled juices) and hot drinks (hot choco, brewed coffee, hot tea) are available. Chocolates, marshmallows, cereals are there. The downside is, I didn't know if they are serving lunch since I was focused on the meeting. SUPER CLEAN toilet with plenty of soap and tissue paper. I definitely want to go back.
