"Great location and very kind and attentions staff!"
I love this hotel and have already stayed there several times! It is perfectly located between Ipanema beach and Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon, very near to the beach (two blocks), nice shops and excellent restaurants. The staff is very kind and attentions. The breakfast is excellent with many fresh fruits, different kinds of breads, cakes and a delicious Brazilian cheese bread. The price is fair, excellent cost/benefit for a very nice staying in Rio de Janeiro.
"Good location but decidedly average "
Small rooms, terrible wifi. Good breakfast and location. Area is safe and within walking distance of a couple of good churrascerias. Gym is on the rooftop- impressive location. Rooftop bar is poor. When I arrived the barman was getting stoned I the toilet there. Average and overpriced for what you get.
Wonderful costumer service , The Hotel is very clean ,Breakfast , anything of your choice, And the location is great ,,, Going back to Rio , this hotel would be my Choice to stay again.Coming from Jamaica To Brazil ,
"Excellent hotel choise"
We enjoyed 4 nights at this boutique hotel. It is very well equipped, reasonably priced and has an excellent location, on a street of shops and restaurants with easy access to the beachside walkway connecting Ipanema, Copacabana and Le Blon beaches.
"great property for a visit to Rio!"
I really enjoyed my stay here. Yes, the rooms are a bit small, but the bathrooms are nice and modern and the bed was comfortable. Yes, the A/C was a little bit noisy, but it was good and strong. The only negative was somehow I had a few mosquitos in my room. Anyways, the staff were lovely, throughout the hotel. The front desk guys were wonderful and very talkative if you wished. They and the bellmen helped with everything from tours and taxis to beach chairs and luggage. They kept fresh water in the lobby for the afternoons and breakfast was truly included in the restaurant attached next door. The restaurant was actually a bar/tavern restaurant in the afternoon and evenings and served tasty food for my exit meal before I went to the airport. The breakfast buffet was quite large and had a little of everything including the pan de quejo, which was yummy!!! The price was quite reasonable and the best part is they let me pay for an additional half day so that I didn't have to check out till 6pm, since my flight was at 10pm at night. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. I bought some lovely dresses and changed my US dollars at the Cambio in the mall diagonally across the street. I ate awesome gelato and chocolates, as well as a variety of international cuisines, which were all within walking distance. The beach is also a short ways away and easy to walk to and hangout. The safe in the room was ideal for leaving your wallet and passport + phone while hanging out on the beach. Great hotel location and a very safe neighborhood, especially compared to Copacabana.
