"Another great Marriott location"
An excellent location close to many tourist attractions, especially if using the City Pass and the Tube. The staff is very accommodating and Marcelo in the executive lounge is phenomenal. He creates a great atmosphere and can accommodate almost any request.
Cromwell Road, close to Gloucester Road Station is an excellent place to stay in London. Close to the City and to the "touristic" London but enjoying all the calm (and the movement) of South Kensington. The hotel is quite modern (many of the hotels around are in more "traditional" Georgian houses. The rooms are clean and spacious and service is standard to good. Internet deteriorates as the day goes by to virtually not working at the end of the day. Breakfast is pretty good. But items are slowly replaced when finished. Overall good experience.
"Great Marriott hotel"
Staying at a Marriott property is always a great way to start a vacation, comfy beds, professional, helpful staff and a chance to unwind! Even though this hotel is on a fairly busy road, the glass structure in front blocked all the street noise so it was very quiet and was a short walk from Earl's Court tube station which we needed. We redeemed points and paid for access to the Executive lounge which was great for a quick breakfast and drinks/snacks when we returned from a busy day. An excellent full breakfast in the dining room was also included so we took advantage of that one day. Another great Marriott experience!
"Confortable and nice location "
This Marriott is confortable and clean.. Rooms are generally quiet. Nothing exiting about room and bathroom.. just standard Marriotts ! Which is also good to avoid surprises. The lounge is a bit dark ( it's in the basement) There are many hotel options close buy and I think this is the only hotel in a recent building.. if you are looking for the charm of a Victorian house don't stay here! Staff is professional.. nothing negative to say
"Great Location : Breakfast too expensive"
Excellent location: 5 minutes walking distance of Earls Court and Gloucester Road tube stations; 10minute walk to the V&A / Natural History Museums or 30minutes to Hyde Park Corner / Harrods. Check in was quick and friendly room was comfortable. Shower and bathroom was average. The Wifi was free and worked well. We spent most of our time out and about so did not spend much time in the hotel other than to sleep and shower. Total cost was £340 room only for two nights. I was a very disappointed at the cost of adding breakfast which was £23 each per day which was too expensive. It would have cost us £92 for the two days, so we had to breakfast outside of the hotel which cost a fraction of this but was a nuisance. Our room was on the ground floor of the hotel at the back, our view was of red brick wall about 3 feet from out window so the room was very dark but on the plus side it was quiet at night.
