Stunning hotel with amazing views. Nice decor with brilliant service. Location is perfect for being in London. Very central. Room was a good size and very clean. From check in to staying, the service was perfect.
I have stayed here 4 times over the past year while taking a Franklin Method workshop. Upon entering my room in March, a card wishing me well on my upcoming exams signed by staff I had met greeted me! This is a lovely and special place! As I was traveling alone, I felt safe and cared for. I have stayed in a variety of rooms and had different views. Some of Hyde Park, and some with a side street view. All of the rooms are beautiful, and I even loved my side street view! If a view of the park is very important to you, you may have to pay for an upgrade as with any hotel. I found this hotel to be extremely quiet. I also believe that you need to make an effort to recognize the staff. If you travel and stay in any hotel you know you are not in your home. There are all types of people, children, holiday's, spring break, weddings, etc. Park Lane does an excellent job accommodating the various activities. There will be others in the Executive Lounge and if a major holiday, there will be children....and that is okay. Enjoy! I will continue to stay in this hotel in the future.
This is one of the best Marriott hotels I've stayed in. The service, location, lobby, rooms, and lounge are all top notch. I'm Lifetime Platinum and have grown frustrated with the inconsistencies across Marriott properties. This one is on par with many Ritz Carlton properties in the U.S.! This was our second stay here and we will be back.
"Great locale and fine hotel"
It was a bit of a rough start. We checked in early on the app with complete understanding that it is a "request". We arrived at the hotel around 10:30AM to a very warm, "We have been expecting you" comment from reception. I was taken aback when i learned that neither of the rooms were ready. Once again I understood since it was 10:30. We were offered the lounge and our baggage was checked with the porter. We experienced London for the day and returned at 4:30PM. At this stage only one of the rooms was ready, sent the family to the lounge while I got all worked out. In the end we got to our rooms. After that little hiccup at the start the hotel and the staff were great. The executive lounge staff was gracious and kept a steady flow of the offerings stocked and refreshed which is tough in a high volume lounge. The concierge, Tommy couldn't have been more helpful. I asked for an ice cream place near by for my 8 and 11 year old. He gave us a few options, but gave me his number to call if the children were disappointed in his suggestions he could have their favor delivered to the room when we returned. Very classy touch and indicative of how the hotel operates. Hotel has a small pool but perfect for children to wind down after a day of flying or sightseeing.
"Exceptional Accomodations in Londons Mayfair section. "
We stayed at the Marriott Park Lane hotel for a 5 night stay and then returned again for a night before returning home to the states. The hotel is definitely a grand hotel with a private boutique feel. The staff was one of the finest I have ever encountered. They were very accommodating in every way. We felt very taken care of. Comfortable rooms , restaurant and lounge in addition to a beautiful pool created a relaxed environment in a truly vibrant city. I would stay there again when we travel back to London.
