This is a very, very nice hotel Brooklyn. I wasn't expecting such a beautiful property at a fairly affordable rate. We had a nice size room with a great view and a beautiful bathroom. It wouldn't surprise me if this hotel was recently refurbished.
This is one of the best hotels I have had the pleasure to lodge in. Everyone associated with this facility were more than pleasant, always available, and in my case seemed to be working all the time. I really would like to recognize Mr. Hakim one of the most professional individuals I have had the pleasure to meet during my career. Mr. Hakim was always on duty and he was the go to guy during my stay always at the front counter it seemed. The hotel itself deserves five stars based on their motivated employees and the quality of their service!
"Great place to stay in New York"
Great place to stay near Brooklyn Bridge. Nice neighborhood, easy access to Manhattan. Nice breakfast options. Great view from the rooms. Very friendly service by all the people there. Free evening snacks and breakfast for Marriott Elite customers
My sister and I stayed there this weekend for her birthday and our stay was amazing from start to finish. We're originally from New York but moved to Charlotte and we wanted a place that was centrally located and this hotel is close to EVERYTHING. The hotel is wonderfully decorated, clean, and the staff there are great but Yahira is one of a kind. I'm a harsh critic because of the nature of my profession but she immediately connected with us and made our stay more memorable. After asking about our stay and I told Yahira that we were there for my sister's birthday, she upgraded our room to one with a great view of the Manhattan Bridge and made my sister her Premier Guest. You never know what kind of things people are dealing with in their lives so for her to make my sister feel special really meant a lot to me. She's truly a gem. Angelo, the bellman, was fantastic as well and we loved his accent! The beds were super comfortable (I'm a single mother of three young kids so having a fluffy bed TO MYSELF was a dream!) and the room was exceptionally quiet considering we were in a corner in the front. Every time I come "home", I'll be staying there. Currently re-booking for July.
We have stayed at many Marriott properties in the US and abroad. The decor was bleak and the lack of lighting made doing work difficult in our suite. The air conditioning was broken in the gym, so the heat was somewhat overwhelming.
