"Weekend with friends "
A special treat for all of us to experience the beauty and culture of Vienna together. The staff at the Marriott were friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was that the pool and gym was not accessible in the early morning (0700) before I started my day. The bathroom in our room was wonderfully relaxing with a large tub and our view of the park was spectacular. We did not have breakfast at the hotel and instead sampled the many wonderful places close by, our favorite being Cafe Schwarzenburg. This trip will be noted as one of our better city visits and the Marriott definitely helped play a role in that experience.
It is highly recommended! Perfect location, easily accessed. The room is very cosy, spacious and well equipped with nice amenities. Very comfortable king size bed and beautiful view of the Park right in the front. There is a rich buffet in the breakfast with plenty of tasteful choices. Last but not least all, although the staff is very polite and always eager to assist you, they sure need to be better trained, especially for a Marriott Hotel, as there is lack of communication amongst them and this is a bit confusing... All in all, a very nice Hotel in one of the most beautiful cities!
"Big centrally located Marriott "
You literally walk into the tram when exiting the hotel; very easy access to hotel and getting around the city by public transportation. There is a hint of casino in the main hall of this hotel. It is not a bad thing actually, but don't expect any local flavor with it. Good Marriott services and typical clean rooms.
"Well Located Marriott in the Heart of Vienna"
Large, centrally located Marriott just inside the Ringstrasse and across from the park. There is a tram stop just outside the main entrance which is convenient for getting around the main city center. It was very easy to walk to most areas on interest. Check-in was delayed due to a lack of available rooms even though it was after the posted time. She did take my cell number and called me when the room was ready. As a token of thanks they upgraded me to an oversized room. I had booked a room on the EL level but this room was more like a junior suite that had been recently upgraded with a soothing blue color palette. The room was very quiet, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size. There was no tub only a large glass shower. The safe was large enough for a laptop. The EL was on the smaller size but beautiful. It was busy all day long. Breakfast in the EL was adequate but somewhat limited. During the day they offered a very nice sweets tray. The evening happy hour offered two different specialties plus various wines, some cheese and veggies. More than enough for most people and probably worth the upgrade if you are not a Platinum member. This is a large convention style hotel so expect it to be busy. The elevators were a little slow just due to the crowds. It was more than adequate for my stay although I did not feel there was any local flavor. It was a fairly generic Marriott that could have been in London, San Diego or any major city.
"Friendly and Helpful Staffs"
Great Location Good and Friendly Staffs. No request is too smal for them. They are able to assist in all requests such as places to shop, what are the great restaurants to recommend. The lounge is quiet and clean. Very suitable for both business and families Nice Spacious room with individual air conditioning settings( even in winter) Walking distance to all shops and shuttle bus to the outlet too.
