"Overall very clean and friendly, but extremely dissapointing"
The hotel is very clean and welcoming. The staff is incredibly friendly and always smiling. However, we were very disappointed in our experience here and ended up shortening our trip by leaving a night early. We traveled with another couple who happened to get a free upgrade to a room with a nice balcony tub. Before our trip we read that the hotel was having construction being done so we called ahead to check to see when the construction would be finished. The hotel assured us that there would be no construction while we were there. Had we known that information was false, we would have stayed elsewhere. You could forget sleeping in and napping on this vacation because the incredibly loud noise of grinding and banging made it impossible to relax after 7am. No alarm clock needed here, it is provided with the complimentary construction. Not only was the noise completely irritable on a trip we were prepared to relax on, but due to all of the construction the pool bar was closed. Every day was a gamble of when it would be open. Most days we were there it wasn't open at all, others it would be open in the morning and closed by lunch. We ended up sneaking into a hotel pool next door that was always open, had happy hour, and the friendliest bar tenders! One, of the two times we were able to use our pool bar, our bartender left out of nowhere and we couldn't even close our tab. We decided after the 5th day we would spend all of our money elsewhere for food and drinks. My boyfriend has stayed at this hotel in the past and loved it! He was embarrassed that he had talked so highly of this resort and persuaded his friends to stay here rather than next door, and to have them be extremely disappointed and bummed they spend a couple thousand of dollars to stay here. Unfortunately we shortened our trip, and we will never recommend anyone to stay here
Me Cabo is a fantastic hotel with a very 'hip' vibe in a great location. Service is exceptional. Richie and his team dramatically enhanced our experience and represented ME very well. I highly recommend ME Cabo.
"Hotel Premises BEATIFUL 5*, Guest Rooms 3.5*"
You cant beat this pool, bars, and restaurants of this hotel! breakfast was free and so fresh, fresh fruit juices literally amazing, we ate at the restaurant on the resort, i was so impressed! I wasn't as impressed with the rooms, even though they were clean and very well decorated and a good size it still felt old, it kind of had that smell of mold, but very lightly, that would be its only downfall Its got a great location close to all bars and restaurants there was a hotel next door called that was beautiful and much newer rooms were marble flooring, but i didn't see the outside or bar so it depends what your looking for.
I loved Cabo just because of the place I staid : The Me Cabo ! And what makes that place just amazing: the high standard level of service! It's just so enjoyable to spend a few day where u know you will get what u pay for ! The whole staff is highly trained and offer the best service I've ever had for a long time. Being a manager myself I could feel that the whole team was lead on the same customer satisfaction level : reception, breakfast, beach, concierge they are all customer driven. They are all well dressed and have the right attitude and body language. But at the same time friendly, open and professional. I'm traveling the world, and it's too bad not meeting that level, like at the Cabo, more often. So ...my congratulations to the whole team! I would like to highlight especially Claudette who is walking the extra mile for her customers with her warmth, professionalism and her nice bright smile. We hope to be back soon ..
We booked this hotel after quickly changing travel plans due to bad weather in the Cayman Islands. We had never been to Cabo and the pictures looked perfect! When booking online, we chose a King Vibe Room with an ocean view. You had to stand on the balcony to see the ocean, so it's a bit misleading in the description and pictures. The room was nice, clean, and the grounds well maintained. Staff was amazing, including Rafael, the concierge! Some details about the resort would have been helpful to know up front, like laying on a lounge next to the pool on a Friday or Saturday costs you $40, and on the other days it's free. Steer clear of the so called "resort next door", that's a hard sell for a time share place. Upper level rooms, that have the best view are also the loudest, due to generators on the roof, roaring at 6am... Great music, good food, but a bit pricey..
