"Great a cool resort"
I was at the hotel for a corporate event. The staff was great and service was excellent. The rooms are comfortable. There are 4 restaurants at the resort, each one specializes in a type of cuisine, and if you have time it is worth going to all of them. Reservations are required. I had a great experience at the ME!
"Love this place-not for children"
I went on vacation by myself and had a blast. This hotel is definitely adult themed. for traveling alone I felt very safe, the staff was wonderful and the food was ok. They are renovating during the winter and I will definitely be back when they reopen.
i was there in my honey moon. No kids, just party people. The restaurant are very good, the beach a dream. The personel very polite. Good place to go back ,a good resort, would definitely consider staying there again.
"Very nice with very few hiccups"
Well, I guess they would have probably received a higher rating if it were not for all of the seaweed that covered the entire beach. Yes, mother nature cannot be helped but the hotel should have taken steps to clean up the seaweed daily like the neighboring hotels did. There was just no getting into the water, you would have to go past at least 15 - 20 feet of seaweed first!! I am really not exaggerating, take a look at the pictures. Other than that, the beach was beautiful, very clean. They said it was due to a storm but after speaking to several employees they said it had been there for quite a while and no one knew why. The pool was absolutely fabulous and the employees there were great! One issue with this "all inclusive" resort was getting dinner reservations. I called the restaurants to make reservations and was promptly told none were available at the time I wanted, of course I had no intention of eating at 5 pm as they suggested. I ended up expressing my disappointment about this to one of the employees at the pool and they informed me that if you just walk over to the restaurant they will more than likely accommodate you. Sure enough that's what I did and there was no problem eating at the requested time. So why would they say otherwise when you call' Who knows! The resort is centrally located and all the rooms are updated, nothing old here! The food was very good just do not expect to get authentic Mexican food, their restaurants have international fare. Jumping over to the mini bar in the room, although it is supposedly an "All Inclusive" resort, you may not think so after this. Everything in your mini/snack bar that has a yellow sticker on it is NOT included, you must pay for it. If you want to drink top shelf alcohol, you must pay for it unless you had an upgraded package that includes this and then you have a different color of wrist band. I just don't know, it seems a bit "misleading" that they would call it "All Inclusive." I did not have an issue with this as I had paid for an upgraded package but others I spoke to expressed their "disappointment." I have to acknowledge some of the staff as they were absolutely WONDERFUL!! Pool concierge: Damian, Karla, Alan and Dora, you guys rocked!! They went out of their way to accommodate your every need. The security guard, Durgen Gutierrez was our unofficial photographer and a great sport! All in all, a good resort, would definitely consider staying there again.
I used to work for MAC Cosmetics and got the opportunity to follow a basic training in Cancun and we stayed at Me Cancun. Well it was awesome. Their food was amazing. Was close to a shopping mall. So we took taxi's. The pool was great, and the foooddd was amazing. During the training days we would get fresh squeezed juices and exquisite snacks. Sabrosooo (delicious). Thumbs up for Me Cancun!
