The Meliá Sancti Petri Hotel is in the fashionable area of ‘Novo Sancti Petri’, overlooking the Barrosa Beach and the mesmerising Atlantic Ocean. This exclusive location means guests can kick back and relax on one of the best beaches in Spain.
Just a five minute walk away from the Hotel is the Meliá Sancti Petri golf course, where you can enjoy a full 18-hole game. We also have a lot of different sports on offer, such as tennis, table tennis, football, and many water sports. If sports aren’t really your thing, then you can take a wine-tasting tour, or a hike through the ‘Toro Bravo’, where one can see fighting bulls in their natural homes.
The Sancti Petri Hotel is also in a great location for visiting the cities of Cádiz, Jerez, Seville and Gibraltar, all of which are easily accessible by car.

"5 star all the way"
The Melia Sancti Petri is a beautifully appointed hotel that makes 5 stars look easy. The customer service is courteous and unobtrusive and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Everything is on site, from a beautiful large pool and cool courtyard to an endless beach just a few steps out the poolside gate. The bedrooms are light and airy and comfortable with a turn down service. Eating can be formal in the 2 Michelin star restaurant or semi-formal in the Alhambra restaurant or casual themed buffet style in the larger dining/breakfast room restaurant. The breakfast was excellent with cereals, cheeses, cold meats, omelettes, fresh fruit, crepes and all manor of breads and pastries. Eating out at a table in the courtyard is a lovely experience. The hotel was I estimate a third full when we were there in early October and as nearly all local amenities close around this time half board would be a good option. An alternative would be to upgrade to the “The Level” guest rooms which have a private lounge which is open nearly all day with premium drinks, coffee, pastries and snacks. All and all a great hotel to kick back and recharge the batteries.
Great hotel. I'm a regular returner so can't get any better. But don't like new buffet only option for dinner on half board. Better do b&b or room only. Barossa beach is amazing. Breakfast is great but a bit too much as your too tempted to eat more than you need.
"Best hotel to stay"
Amazing hotel with gorgeous scenery surrounding. Stayed here for 3 nights in October with wife. Hotel was lovely, 2 pools and hardly a soul in them, right on a lovely sandy beach. The room itself was large size, very clean, comfortable and quiet. Bathrooms beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Good breakfast buffet and excellent evening meals. We found every member of staff very friendly and helpful. Would love to go back especially to their spa. Would thoroughly recommend.
"One of the best hotels i have ever been to"
Beautiful hotel with a perfect location at the beach. The staff is very friendly and the dinner in alafante was amazing! Also the breakfast was perfect! It was one of the best experiences i have ever had in a hotel. I would reccomend it to everyone.
"An hotel truly worthy of its 5 star "gran lujo" category"
After approximately 20 years visiting this area, and having previously stayed in two other hotels on the same beach, I suggest that this is the best in the area without a doubt. From the moment of booking (I booked by phone, last minute), the attention was amazing and really "luxurious". On arrival we were met with a smiling employee who took our bags and offered to park our car (MAJOR plus in this area is the free parking available - normally horrendously difficult to find somewhere). Check in was fast, professional and again, full of smiles. Another employee took us to our room...yes, smiling! Room: we had a standard room, lateral sea view, which was, in fact, a wonderful sea view! Very clean, plenty of space. Bathroom again of a good size with a wonderful rainfall shower. Sleep quality very good - bed was very comfortable and, very importantly, the aircon and light switches were by the beds and easy to use, which is not the case in most hotels! We were still preparing for dinner when turn down service arrived, so they just left us new towels. We did not eat in the hotel, but have heard wonderful things about the Alevante restaurant. It was closed the night of our stay (a Monday), but hopefully we will be back next year to try it out. We had a nightcap which was served in the wonderful Andalucian patio by...yes, smiling staff! Breakfast the next day was very good. All produce was of top quality - fresh orange juice, plenty to suit all. However, coffee was not good - I realise that only the VIP guests have access to the Nespresso machines, but there are very good Spanish coffee brands which could be served to the "poorer" clientele. Beach: Best beach in Spain as far as I am concerned (although when windy is probably the worst!). The hotel's recliners and parasols were well placed. I saw a waiter taking orders from clients, although we didn't use the service. It is an easy walk from hotel to beach. Pool. We used it early in the morning before breakfast - wonderfully large, which it needs to be when the levante winds mean you can't use beach. We were alone and loved it! This is one of the hotels where I really hope to return - next year and to stay longer! I have never been in an hotel where all the staff (apparently) love working and cheerfully greet guests! You just can't be unhappy in such a place.
