The Hotel Meliá Valencia is located in the fastest growing area in Valencia, next to the Congress Centre on the Corts Valencianes Avenue, only 15 minutes by car from Manises International Airport and 15 minutes by metro from the new AVE high speed train station. This hotel in Valencia is only 3 kilometres from the centre of the city with excellent travel services by metro, bus or tram. The hotel has an excellent location very near the future new ground of Valencia football club.
Always good place to stop between France and Portugal. Excellent value and good breakfast. Walking distance to many places in town even though the bar had an excellent selection of foods to cater for many people
"A great home for a few days!"
This was our 3rd stay with Meliá Valencia and they have continued to exceed our expectations. The hotel is outside the centre of Valencia (5km) but well connected. You do need a car to access the beaches or be prepared to use cabs or cabify (highly recommended car service). Transit is close by as well. As the purpose of our visit to Valencia is to enjoy and relax at the beach, our favorites are Patacona and Port Saplaya. Neither of these beaches have hotels near by and reason why decided to stay out of the city and enjoy a hotel with larger rooms and less tourist traffic. The hotel is modern, very clean and spacious. Recommendation: Request a corner room with view. It has an amazing floor to ceiling window with a view to the city. There are restaurants and services near by if you don't wish to venture into the city. The Casino Cirsa Valencia is across the street which have shows, restaurants and of course all gaming activities. The only disappointment is the lack of a pool if you want to stay at the property and reason why I don't give the hotel 5*. They do have spa facilities as an alternative. If you do have a car, free parking is available on the street but depending if it's a weekend or an event, it may be more difficult to find a spot near by. We will be back again in the summer!
"Great place to stay"
This is the first time I have stayed at a Melia hotel and it was just great. Staff were brilliant and very attentive; service was quick and always friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent and lots of variety. The bed in the room was super comfortable, bathroom very well equipped with a bath/shower and a separate shower.
"A great stay at Melia Valencia "
I had the pleasure of staying here on a business trip recently. The room was large, well appointed, clean and fresh. My overall impression of the hotel was that it was very well run and the staff we always helpful, friendly and polite. On one evening myself and a colleague decided that we would ask at reception for guidance and recommendation on a restaurant in town. No only did the young lady give us several recommendations, she rang the restaurant, ordered for us so that the food would be ready on arrival and ordered our taxi - that is customer service at a whole new level. The meal was everything we expected and more. There is one or two things to improve on however: the gym and the stocking of hot food at breakfast. As this is a conference hotel it is appreciated if there is a well equipped gym with up to date equipment in good working condition and cleaned daily. The gym is an important facility for anyone who before or after a long day wants to train in a pleasant environment, it was not clean, one machine was broken and it was generally messy and in darkness in the morning. At breakfast it is appreciated if the breakfast buffet is well stocked at all times. Overall verdict: warmly recommended.
Trip to Valencia, stayed at the Melia. Very impressive hotel on first impressions. Easy check in, rooms were large, we stayed near if not the top floor and the lift is beautiful to go in, maybe not so if your afraid of heights as the lift is glass to the exterior! beautifully furnished, great bathrooms. Advise to use the bath foam it was amazing! the only thing i would say is to not eat in the bar area at the front of the hotel. I didnt find the food to a good standard at all. unsure on the main restaurant, i heard it was better than the front bar but venture into Valencia its self for food it was fantastic! Didnt get chance to use the spa but looked very nice Overall great stay
