of TripAdvisor Travelers recommend this hotel
I recently visited this hotel with a small group. We were only there one night, I would of liked to stay longer. I have been travelling for over four weeks and this was the best hotel so far. The bed was fabulous and I really loved the room. We had a very good dinner there.
This was a 3 night stay. It is an a great location, near the railway station and a short 25 minute walk to the city centre. We had driven from England. The staff were friendly as it was my Birthday they provided me with a Complimentary bottle of champagne & a fruit platter which was beautiful. The food was excellent with plenty of restaurants in the local area. Bratislava is a small compact city so really only takes one day to see all the sights. Shops were shut on a Sunday/Bank Holiday Monday. The room was very different with a bathroom surrounded by glass windows into the room. Perfect for couples but not friends lol. Excellent car park facilities under the hotel.
"Good location offering value for money"
Comfortable mid range hotel ideally located next to the train station and only a fifteen minute stroll to the old town. If you would prefer a taxi they are cheap enough but ask the hotel to book one for you for a better rate. Rooms are clean modern and well appointed, the glass bathroom is in the middle of the room but has blinds for those preferring a private shower! The toilet is separate. The bar is modern, clean, comfortable and resonantly priced. We stayed for a very reasonable €60 with an England match on the next day! The only downside was the tediously slow check in. Only one chap working on what was probably the hotels busiest day this year and a queue forming! He did his best and worked hard, but the hotel should have really had the foresight to have more than one check in terminal in operation. A good hotel and value for money. Tip: Bratislava and Vienna are well set for a two centre city break, only one hour on the train apart and a return ticket is €16.
"Excellent New Hotel"
We chose this hotel due mainly to its proximity to Bratislava’s main station as we were arriving by train from Vienna & actually couldn’t have picked better. The hotel is new & very modern with contemporary rooms & fantastic bathrooms. Although one thing to note is that the shower is behind a glass window looking out on to the bedroom, a quirky feature but there is a blind that can be pulled for privacy! The staff were very helpful providing us with a city map on arrival & giving us guidance re things to bear in mind whilst visiting Bratislava eg. not to flag taxis but to go in to any hotel & ask their reception to call one to avoid being excessively charged. We had breakfast included as part of our package & definitely couldn’t complain at the wide selection of food & drink available. The location of the hotel is a 15 minute walk away from the main old town centre but it’s a very straightforward route & there are regular trams should you choose not to walk. Being outside the main area actually turned out to be a bonus for us as our visit coincided with an international football match so the city was extremely busy & noisy. I really cannot fault this hotel or Bratislava – a fantastic city - & I definitely hope to return to both soon.
"No need for more"
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and were very satisfied. There is no need to write many words, the hotel (4 stars) is more than usual from any aspect. One should be very spoilt to say a bad word.Go there and you will see that what is written is simple true.
