"Great Location, Warm, Friendly Staff"
We had a great time in HK and at this hotel. It's people are fantastic and so friendly. Paul the Concierge was so helpful, Reception had a particularly welcoming staff member, Marina and the interaction and service as breakfast was always warm and anticipatory - thanks to the wonderful girls, Rita and Mahdu who were absolute delights and were keen for us to return because they would miss us. Hotel management were present checking on our stay, Pauline Ho and the GM Evan who we met 3 times in the breakfast room. He too is very friendly and approachable and always greeted me by name. The rooms were comfortable, close to the HK Convention Centre, the MTR and the 'Ding Ding' (electric trams). We'd love to return soon just for those lovely girls Madhu and Rita who made Hong Kong so special for us. (My first time in this Hotel, my 11th time in HK.)
"great hotel and location"
Great hotel. Friendly staff, excellent location and clean rooms. Will definitely come back when in HK. We got a free upgrade and our room was massive for HK standards. Great value for money relative to other hotels in the area
"Great Location Friendly staff"
My partner and I stayed at Metropark Wanchai for three nights as a stop over on the way to Europe at the end of July beginning of August 2016. We were upgraded to a larger room which was a bonus. The room was well equipped with nice comfortable beds and a good shower. The air conditioning was a bit noisy but we got use to that. The location of this hotel is excellent, right in the heart of everything on Hennessy Road. Close to restaurants, shops and the Wan Chai MTR station is less than a five minute walk away. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Paul Wan the assistant manager gave us great service and could not help us enough. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hong Kong.
It's not in the heart of Causeway shopping belt. But it's 7 mins walk to Wan Chia MTR which is just one stop to either Causeway or Admirty MTR. It is less than 5 mins walk to the tram which is a great and cheap HKD2.30 to get to Causeway or Mid levels. Rooms are of good size . I had a double bed and single bed in my room with ample space for my luggage. Rooms are great. Breakfast is too plan . Just slices of sandwich bread, jams in disposal plastics , hard boil eggs and museli. Cost HKD110 per head which we feel is overpriced. Four of us usually have breakfast at cafes next door which usually cost around HKD40 each. Overall a pleasant stay.
"Convenience at its peak!"
This hotel succeeds at being one of the most convenient hotels we have ever stayed. The hotel room is large for a city with space issues - comfortable bed, fine bathroom, and had a hair dryer that could actually dry my hair:) The Android phone in the room is such a nice addition - I purchased a wifi for the rest of our trip in China, but it does not work in Hong Kong, so for the hotel to provide us with a phone free of charge, with free local and international phone calls was valuable for us. I had to make a phone call to change a reservation and this made it quite convenient. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They offer a free shoe shine that my boyfriend took them up on - and I guess the most important part is that the location was very central (Wan Chai is known to be a bit naughty, but if you have been to other places in the world, you wouldn't even deem Wan Chai naughty - it is a very safe place with lots of fun shops). The hotel smells like Las Vegas, but I assure you that the rooms do not if you have nose sensitivity and they are also quiet. The staff was so friendly and helped us in many instances. Would highly recommend this clean and very reasonably priced hotel to anyone staying in the exciting and beautiful city of Hong Kong. Thanks again.
