An 11-minute walk from the waterfront corniche, this upscale, high-rise hotel is 2 km from Abu Dhabi beach and 5 km from Abu Dhabi Mall.
Very friendly and helpful staff and the hotel is situated in the city center close to everything.Comment of O. Julia , United Arab Emirates the 2016-05-17
"Check out the Height of the Bed"
Checking into the hotel you find a lady with a smile to make that tied travelling feeling fly away, no hassle quick and easy check-in. My room is fantastic, large with easy chairs and great fixtures and fittings. The bath room is also large and I love the design. The bed, wow it must be at least 1/2 meter high from the ground up and the bed itself was so comfortable and relaxing just was you need after a 6 hour flight. Watch out for the light switch near the door and the same type of switch near the bed, this switch closes all electric in the room excluding the TV, so if you have plugged in your mobile it will not charge, be warned.
""Very Good location""
I had been in this hotel in July, 2015, its having a best atmosphere, pool and the revolving bar. Best location best hospitality and many more. The room are well maintained & The staff were really polite. The check in/out is prompt and efficient.
"What a disappointment"
We arrived later than planned, due to long delay at A-Dhabi airport, but had advised the hotel that we would be a late check in. We were staying here pre-cruise. Our check in was the worst we have experienced. The lady on Reception clearly did not know what she was doing... we could see her computer screen and it was on the hotel's logo for much of the time. We were eventually told that there was no room for us. After much discussion between the receptionist and someone else on another desk, who suggested Room 213 (20 mins later), we eventually got into 213, which smelt very strongly of smoke. Check out was no better, a different lady, who was quite arrogant and who tried to charge us for the transfer from the airport, despite us showing her written confirmation from The Millennium that this was included. My partner asked to speak to the manager, who was equally unhelpful, but after much discussion, he agreed to abide by the confirmation. This all took another 20 or so minutes of our time, whilst our taxi was waiting outside. Just not acceptable for a hotel of Millennium's standard. We would not recommend this hotel. We are now at the end of our holiday and have spent the last 3 days after our cruise staying at The Hilton on The Corniche.... this hotel knows how to look after its customers and could show The Millennium what customer care does mean
no available room due to overbooking. First night of the year when all hotels are full we tried to find available hotel to stay. No one from the local travel agent were available to resolve our problem.
I chose this hotel because it had decent ratings and it included hotel pick/drop off and breakfast for a decent price. Unfortunately when it came to the drop off they said we had to pay, so we went with the public taxi instead which was cheaper. That's the only disappointing thing that happened there I had emailed them to confirm and they still wouldn't honor it. The room we had had a great view and it nice. Breakfast selection is great and the food is delicious, especially the omelettes.
