Millenium Hotel Glasgow is located on George Square, in the commercial and cultural centre of the city, 20 minutes by car from Glasgow Airport.
Excelent ubication close to Queen Street Station and in front of George Square. The rooms are quiet and well presented. The view from the rooms on the top floor are very good to see part of the most emblematic buildings of Glasgow City Centre. The price is reasonable. Good quality.
"Room Needs Updating"
Grand hotel in the centre of Glasgow, so very easy to get around. My room was clean if a little dated. The heating did not work too well and so spent a cold night, and morning getting in and out of the shower. The staff were polite and helpful, cannot be faulted, and the breakfast was good, worth the stay for the breakfast.
Was here for a night, staff was friendly but the service was awful! Booked a double bed room, ended up getting a room with 2 single beds. Managed to get it sorted but the room we had was two single beds joint up together! The cutlery we had was very very dirty. Shower tap was broken as well. Won't be coming back here.
"Great staff and location, ask not to have a room on the station side"
This is one of those three star reviews where nothing was three star, it was either great or poor. The staff are a real credit to the group, every staff member was very friendly and helpful. The reception is well presented and make sure if you're eating at the hotel, get a table in the glass cubes overlooking the square. That brings me on to location, extremely handy for food and bars, right next to Queen Street Station. Ah, the station. The tannoys boom out until late and then burst back into your room in the early morning, if you stay, ask to avoid the station side. In fairness I didn't ask to be moved so it isn't as if the staff had the chance to offer a change. However when the hotel is nowhere near full, I'd hope common sense would put you on the side of the square given the tannoy noise seems a constant review annoyance. The rooms are pretty worn as is the bed linen and the quality of the breakfast buffet is poor, if you have the time, use one of the many great local options, I've just sent my colleague elsewhere as he came down to join me.
"The bed was comfy..."
And that's about it...my room was located next to the busy train station where it was loud and the tannoy echoed through the room! Hairs in my colleagues food and not really any kind of room amenities, disappointed and thought better of a hotel like this. Very centrally located but Wouldn't return
