Good location, nice hotel!Comment of C. Alon , Israel the 2015-09-10
"Keep coming back"
Perfect 7 days of sleep, massages and facials after busy tour. We keep returning because the hotel is central, we get our favourite room and are treated well. The breakfasts are consistent and suits our tastes and will continue to stay on beachside. There is currently a big construction of a shopping centre in progress across from JungCeylon. We did not hear any construction noise still in early stages. Phuket was less crowded and quiter as it was in mourning.
"Best for close to the action"
After several stays in Phuket, I found my keeper. This hotel is across the street from the main bar scene but beside a great mall with good quality restaurants. The room was very nice and promptly attended to each morning. The staff was welcoming and always ready to help. The pool was awesome and was my place for a dip every morning.
"Oasis in the center of town"
Millennium is an incredible place to be , since it is so close to all sorts of action in town and yet once you go through the entrance attached to the Junceylon mall , all of a sudden you exit the frenesia and enter in a peaceful place that has it staff ready for you with all sorts of concerns or issues you may have. Upon arrival I was greeted by JJ , who welcomed me in as a family member and to my surprise, handed me a room upgrade. Furthermore, since the airline had lost my luggage, she took it upon herself to insure it would be delivered in a timely fashion to the hotel. Breakfast buffet has so many choices and plenty of dish varieties . Got lucky to find out that during my stay that they were hosting a wine tasting dinner event. The event was hosted by the importer that provided wines to Millenium . The host was super professional and the food - wine pairing was impeccable as well as the service . Highly recommend , and will definitely go back again .
"Its a decent hotel, not as bad as folks make it out to be on here."
Stayed in "beachside Millennium" for 2 nights as part of a mystery 5 star hotel deal. Its not 5 stars but it's more upscale than 3 stars. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for, and for $70ish we didn't feel ripped off. Pros: 1) Nice lobby, decent room 2) Fantastic breakfast! fresh made juice from fruit, eggs any style, waffles, pancakes, yogurt, pastries, chinese + indian options and fresh fruit -- take your pick! 3) Location good, close to everything 4) Fridge provided Cons: 1) Our room had balcony but no view 2) Room smelled damp 3) Concierge seemed annoyed when we asked him to make a call to the ferry company because they were late picking us up. He called 1 of the 4 numbers they listed on the ferry ticket, and said it was disconnected and didn't want to try the other 3, nor did he offer any other assistance ("can I call you a taxi so you don't miss your boat'" would have been a proper response). I decided not to bother and called the other 3 numbers on my cell phone myself; the few cents I'd spend on international roaming weren't worth the attitude I was getting from him. Not 5 star concierge behavior I've seen at other hotels. 4) The hotel is massive and its a bit of a maze to get to our room, we had to take 2 different elevators and walk quite a bit through at least 4 different hallways. Seems like a bunch of buildings that were connected together at some point.
"A stay to remember.."
I was once choose by our company as one delegate to attended a one week business seminar happened last May 2016. And all I can say is that the place are good and quite simple with friendly staff service is exemplary. Show respect to their visitor and love their work ( I remembered the name of the staff Kookai,Saab etc..in their restaurant). The food was great and overall- EXCELLENCE!!!. Hope that I can back at this hotel in the future probably next year! :-)
