"a nearly perfect week"
We were given 2 rooms with dreadful views overlooking building works even though I checked the rooms did not overlook such work. It was a Friday so did not have workers until Saturday I asked for adjoining rooms with one king sized bed and one with2 beds was given 2 rooms with king sized useless when we are 2 adults 2 children and a baby. The sofa beds were awful and the bed so thin that even with a2 year old it was v shaped After complaining they moved us to wonderful rooms facing the gulf what a difference .But is was a hassle having to repack our5 suitcases with the help of 3 children under 6! we moved on and had a wonderful week, everything is very expensive but luckily we had paid extra for half board The children's club had the most marvellous facilities but the staff were a bit lazy and left the TV on all the time. there were some children with their parents some without so it was very full and a bit chaotic. Also I think they should have labelled the children so they could interact more easily. Children under4 eat and drink free so that was a bonus. The service was impeccable the staff amazing and we had a wonderful but very expensive week. The service on the beach was fantastic and the beach boys couldn't do enough for us. Getting around the resorts was fun but sometimes we had to wait rather a long time for the buggies Would I return yes !!!
"outstanding service and location"
Situated at the centre of the madinat Jumeirah the Mina A Salam has it all. It’s easy to navigate the resort via the free golf buggy or on the abras taking you to the souk via the waterway. There are many restaurants from which to chose all of which are excellent. Shimmers on the beach being arguably the best. The rooms are luxurious and well appointed and the beds are so comfortable it’s difficult to leave them. The staff are always greet you with a smile and are always willing to help. Overall an outstanding location and wonderful staff.
Where do we start, this resort has everything you'll ever want or need. We only had 2.5 days in Dubai to break up our travel from Laos to back home in the states. This was our 1st stay, which we will be back for a longer stay. It started with our arrival, check-in, the beautiful rooms, service that can't be matched, we love the Mina A'Salam. Our view was oceanfront, but any room would be perfect. The construction of a new Jumeirah hotel is almost complete with very little distribution. Everyone team member was helpful and always had a smile. The beds were very comfortable. No trouble sleeping. The bathroom was incredible with enough toiletries which were awesome. There are plenty of beach chairs and you are provided with ice cold bottles of water and towels. The breakfast buffet has plenty of delicious selections. Even a chocolate fountain! The pool bar has wonderful views and plenty of shade. You can utilize the boats or buggies to get around on the resort. We were very impressed on how family friendly the resort was, even if you don't have children, Mina A'Salam has something for everyone. You can shop at the Souk Market, along with plenty on site restaurants. Thank you for a fantastic stay with wonderful memories. Cannot wait until we can return!
"Luxury as far as your eye can see"
We arrived late at night with two children. unfortunately another guest was trying to talk to the receptionist at the same time as he was checking me in, which made the check in take much longer than nessecary. Rude guest and a too polite receptionist. The hotel looks spectacular. Everything is very authentic arabic. The rooms are spacious and nice, however some renovating in the next years would be good. Was also some construction work around the area of the hotel. It is fine for families, however, not the most child friendly with its nice channels for the boats taking you to the souk and other restaurants. Food is mostly very good, but also very expensive. Service is great all over. Tennis facilities are great, same with the gym. You get to use all the facilities at Jumeirah beach hotel, including the water park. Great for the children. Also a kids club, but only exciting for the really small children. Perhaps up to 5 years.
We stayed for 5 nights for our honeymoon. The rooms are large, immaculate as is the whole hotel and the staff cannot do enough for you. We were half board but could dine at 50 different restaurants. Was easy to book and the food at each place was amazing. Fantastic service great holiday
