The Mirage Resort & Casino is located a mile away from Las Vegas Strip. The high roller is a stone's throw away and the Fountains of Bellagio are only 2 km away from the property.

Ich war schon 8mal in diesem Hotel, für mich die beste Wahl! Zentral am Strip gelegen, schöne Poollandschaft, im Gegensatz zu anderen Strip-Hotels sehr übersichtlich und dazu super Preis/Leistung!Comment of K. Thorben , Germany the 2014-07-19

"Everything needed in a hotel"
Stayed for four nights end of September. Restaurants reviewed separately. Overall hotel....easy to navigate, restaurants, shops on the outer fringe, casino in the center. One in our party is extremely allergic to smoke, but had no problems walking through the casino. Air was fresh and very little smoke smell. Yes, some of the carpet is worn, but who walks with their head down (unless you just lost a lot of money LOL). Beatles LOVE theater an easy walk from the front entrance. Elevator banks next to one another. We stayed on the 24th floor and had two specific elevators for the 24th and 25th floor only. Pool....large with a tropical feel. The main pool is extremely crowded with 90% of it in the sun, no umbrellas at all. We opted for the Oasis pool. For a up charge, depending on day of week, it was well worth it. More of a private area, almost forgot the main pool was near by. Pads on the lounge chairs, umbrellas for every two chairs and a table. There is a dedicated person to take drink/food orders. Ariel was our attendant and she was fantastic!!! Food and drink is expensive, but not any more than any other resort we've been to. Rooms....We had a tower king overlooking the pool area and the south strip. Good size room with large bathroom. Everything was in working order and clean. No unnecessary noise from the hallways or outside. No complaints. Personnel....this is the strength of the property. From check in personnel to housekeeping, everyone was friendly and helpful. If you had to ask for directions to some place in the hotel, they did not point, but took you to where needed to go. Didn't matter if you interrupted their task at hand. If you had a puzzled look on your face, someone would stop and ask if they could help. Are you nickel and dime you' Yes, but all the hotel do and if you do you research it should not be a surprise. Had a good time and would stay here again.
"Nice, but "
Room was not very clean, towels and washcloths old and stained. Fixtures were old and rusty, tub stained and shower head partially clogged. Mattress was worn out and felt like I was sleeping in cookie dough. Not exactly what you expect from a resort hotel. The rest of the amenities were nice, just stay away from the high priced snacks that are sold as a "courtesy". Not a gambler but they have a nice pool and interesting shops.
We just checked in about 20 minutes ago and we weren't staying here with friends we would be checking out. Our room is very dated and not clean and has a very stuffy feeling. When I called the front desk for a new room I was told that since the hotel was built in the 80s the other rooms that we can move to likely look the same, they "have wear and tear". The suites were sold out. Maybe they are nicer' I would like to go back to the Wynn please....
"Just the right size hotel"
You will notice that some hotels on the strip have huge casinos which makes getting from your hotel room to an Uber a maze attempt and also a long walking experience. The Mirage is reasonably better in that respect. A dome in the lobby helps you find your location, and the casino is not as large as at other hotels, so you don't have to walk as far to get to a restaurant, a shop, the front desk, or an Uber. The room was clean, eclectic, and cozy. The pool gets super crowded so get there early in the morning. Pool service for food and drinks was excellent, the food, not so much.
"Sub par hotel!"
We paid for the view of the strip and instead got a view of a roof and an expressway. I am definitely disappointed for our 1st night in Vegas after being so excited about pur annual trip. Check in was quick and efficient. The hotel does have 24 hr room service.
