The Mirage Resort & Casino is located a mile away from Las Vegas Strip. The high roller is a stone's throw away and the Fountains of Bellagio are only 2 km away from the property.
We traveled to Las Vegas in September to renew our wedding vows after 25 years of marriage and could not have selected a better venue to celebrate. We would stay here for sure on our next visit to Las Vegas.Comment of M. Stephen , Australia the 2016-07-20

Ich war schon 8mal in diesem Hotel, für mich die beste Wahl! Zentral am Strip gelegen, schöne Poollandschaft, im Gegensatz zu anderen Strip-Hotels sehr übersichtlich und dazu super Preis/Leistung!Comment of K. Thorben , Germany the 2014-07-19
The Mirage Hotel and Casino has a perfect price/position ratio.Comment of C. Giovanni , Italy the 2013-11-05
Stayed at the Mirage recently on our annual trip to Las Vegas. Once again, everything was wonderful! Nice clean room with a view of the strip and volcano. Enjoyed many great restaurants: LVB, Carnegie Deli, Samba and enjoyed drinks and music at the outdoor Rhumbar! The Mirage is always a great choice and after staying there many times, we feel like we're "home" when we arrive!!
"Great Hotel in the Heart of the Action"
The Mirage is a great resort located in the middle of the action on the Strip. The rooms are extremely clean and the property is very well maintained. The pool is an oasis, but the pool deck can be very crowded. Earlier this year, this hotel and all other MGM properties began charging guests an additional fee for parking, which is outrageous. They even charge their employees to park on the property. Be sure to complain about this upon check-in, especially for the benefit of the employees.
In 1991 I went to Mirage with my friends together. It was new at the Strip and the Vocano Exploding Show was very attractive to the travellers every half hour from 8PM to midnight. I guess almost a thousand people gathered to watch that show rach time. But now there are only 2 shows each day, but still good enough for people to watch it. And the Rain Forest and tha Shark Tang almost the same , but no more sharks to be seen. Well, I would like to say that it is a good place to stay for a few day, not only the good location also a good hotel.
"Very nice property but some minor issues"
We stayed here in early October 2016 for 3 nights which we were comped through the MyVegas slots program on Facebook. I had 2 nights, my wife 1 and the hotel was good to allow us to combine them without having to change rooms. We have stayed in several Vegas hotels and this is definitely one of our favourites but there were some things that cut into the enjoyment of our stay. The check-in line was long but moved very fast as they were quick to put several agents on the desk and control traffic. We asked for an upgrade due to a milestone birthday (even proved it on my license) and were told we got a room overlooking the volcano. The walk to the elevators is a bit long and snakes through the casino. Keep your eyes open for shortcuts through the slots. In the evenings there is a security guard checking that you have your key. Elevators are fast but getting to them can be quite congested as they are near a major intersection in the hotel. The room was well laid out and decorated. There are easily accessible power outlets, a decent sized desk and windows that actually open a bit. The cleanliness was above average and everything in the room was functional. Be careful with the mini bar and the snack tray. Everything is on sensors so if you even pick up the $12 pack of nuts you will be charged. We were advised after noticing the sensor that you have 15 seconds to replace things. Unfortunately our room did not overlook the strip and volcano as promised. We had a view of the south strip, some of the pool, a rooftop HVAC and satellite dishes. The shower head is not great and several of the jets sprayed in different directions. Waits for drinks in the casino can be quite long and it was quite a wait to have a slot attendant come to resolve a ticket issue. We noticed the old BLT Burger joint is now called LVB Burger and were curious as to the name change. A quick online search showed that BLT was in violation of health codes several times and shut down. I suggest checking the compliance of LVB before dining there. Issue were minor though. This property has a beautiful atrium, many entertainment options, a large casino and is fairly close to the centre of the strip. I'm sure we will be visiting again. RESORT FEES: These have been in place in Vegas for many years. They are listed on the hotel websites and most travel sites. If you get caught off guard by them then it's not the fault of the hotel imho. I completely disagree with resort fees but have come to factor them in as part of the cost of the Vegas experience.
"The Best place to stay"
The Mirage is a very nice hotel. Very clean, very friendly, Yes, I do recommend this hotel. Great Location to the best places to visit. Dinning and shows were good, pool and pool service was great. The valet service was very fast.
