"Very Nice and cosy hotel"
We stayed here late september and it was wonderfull weather. We had a room at the end of the garden, which gave you a feeling of being home. The hotel is close to the center of Brugges, everything is in about 10 minutes walk. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpfull. Next time when we are in Brugge we will certainly go to this hotel
"Pleasant, well appointed hotel"
We stayed in Bruges the weekend before Christmas. Not the best time to visit Bruges as the whole of Europe seemed to have decided to visit the same weekend. The hotel is within walking distance of the centre, although it is quite a long walk. The hotel is modern and has been tastefully decorated. We had a large room in the main part of the hotel, which was a little spartan. The bathroom was large, but lacked charm, with, for instance, plastic wash basins. It is as if the owners spent all of their money on the public part of the hotel and ran out of money when they came to completing the rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. The price of the room was very high, but that may have been because we chose the weekend before Christmas.
"New Years visit - overpriced"
As a present for my better half, I booked a two night stay in Bruges over New Years. Appreciate all accommodation will be overpriced for New Year's Eve! But this was too expensive, you know when you just feel you have been done over/not got good value for money' We wanted a double' We paid £240/night and got two singles stuck together. Bed sheets were old and tatty, we could hear the adjacent rooms when they coughed! Just didn't feel good value for money - it says 4 star - more like 3 at a push. Staff were ok' Nothing special. Didn't bother with breakfast as that was 18€ which again was extortionate. Location very good though. But only stay if you like getting port value for money and it's the only hotel left in the 2-3 star hotel selection in Bruges. Coffee was cold one day in the communal area. 2 stars about right. If it was £150/night would have been 3 stars.
"Great value hotel"
I stayed with 2 friends in a triple room for one night. On arrival although we were slightly early but our room was ready. The triple room was of a good size and the bathroom was large and well equipped. The reception staff were very helpful and there is both free tea and coffee on tap and a lovely, cosy lounge. The hotel is excellently located for sight seeing. The only downside is that there was very noisy/ drunk guests who came back late and made a lot of noise going upstairs but I don't genuinely believe that is the fault of the hotel.
"Better than Hilton"
Take a leap of faith and you'll have no regrets. When we travel we default to Hilton so that there are no surprises or sleepless nights. We took a chance on this with some encouragement from some friends from Belgium that we just met in France. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are perfectly decorated and awesome clean. The bed was firm and yet engulfing. The location is outstanding. It was a quick walk to town and the very central to most activities. We parked our car in the public garage which was one block from the hotel. The parking in/out self service allowed us to take and afternoon jaunt down to Brussels for a HardRock run. When we come back, this is where we will stay, hands down. That should tell you everything you need to know to make this decision.
