We had a very enjoyable 4 night stay. Room very clean, modern & smelt wonderful & fresh. Breakfast was included & was great - good range of fresh pastries, fruit, yoghurt & granola. The hotel is in a great position - walking distance to many major places to visit. Surrounded by some good bars & places to eat - though some are very pricey. We loved Mulligans Irish bar just down the street - reasonable & great food & beer.
Perfect for a sight seeing trip. Excellent location, easy walk to Times Square, Grand Central and Central Park. Breakfast was very good - fresh fruit, pastries, bagels served in a lounge type area rather than a restaurant. Our room was a good size, clean, comfortable bed. Only negative would be our bathroom was very small, felt a little claustrophobic and the mini bar expensive! It would have been nice to be able to help ourselves to a reasonably priced bottle of water from the mini bar. Having said this I would recommend.
"Last Minute Booking"
Booked this hotel last minute for Presidents day weekend. Front office staff were very nice at check in. Hotel rooms were decent sized for midtown NYC. Decor and condition of property very well kept for an older building. Only draw back was on lift was out of service which caused some longer than usual waits for the lift. Nothing a walk down a few flights of stares couldn't overcome. I would recommend this property for anyone looking to spend a few days in the middle of NYC.
We stayed there July 2016, it was the first stop in our honeymoon... the hotel is good, it is on the center of NYC and also includes breakfast. It was our honeymoon and they didn't do anything for us, for example put in our room one detail, or give us a congratulation, a better room... anything!
"Great value for money. Large room, good service and location"
Recommended for couples and families who want both service, a bit of space and comfort in the room and great central location! Great advantage of the MORGANs is the size of the room. At list the suite is very big though it only accommodates 3 people. However you can fit 3 in the gigantic king size bed and you can easily add a n additional bed for an extra 25$. The breakfast is a good continental breakfast. Great choice of pastries and yogurt. The rooms are just a tiny bit less fancy than the photos and the bar make it look. It is not one of those lounge fancy hotel like the nolitan or the roger or renwick. But again, the suite is very big and king size bed gigantic for a NYC hotel. Staff is friendly and responsive. Valet parking for 55$ for a small/ medium car, 65$ for a suv or bigger.
