"very nice location and good service"
Been there for 4 nights in March, the overall experience is good. The hotel location is amazing, the view is breathtaking and the rooms are generally good. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, they are very friendly and helpful in everything. they basically do their best to make your stay more comfortable. The food is not the best, breakfast is basic yet good compared to a variety of hotels in the same area and price range, yet lunch was not the best. The lobby bar is very nice, its good for an afternoon drink specially during the summer with the huge open air area overlooking the sea
All was great and we enjoyed our stay in this hotel where we will back again for sure. Special thanks for Ms.Saria she did everything to satisfy us starting from the room to amenities, courtesy calls and all what we needed. HK they are amazing and doing their job in an excellent way! Keep it up!
"Good but cold"
Booked a suite and enjoyed. The food ordered thru room service was delicious. However two main problems were there: 1- Heating: there was not a central heating. They provided us a small electric heater which was undersclaed compared to the room size (it was in December!) 2- Parking: we were promised a free parking spot but they made us pay for it (it was our wedding!)
well, it was really lovely experience. Everything was good especially room service and the reception. The room was very clean and organized. The breakfast and lunch were very delicious. I wish i have had spend more time at the hotel and i would love to keep me updated about your offers. My only complaint is about the safety of the hotel, i recommend to be little bit secured in order to keep your guest feeling comfort with no worries. Many Thanks! Omar
"Great location, lovely pools, well maintained, very expensive tours, improvement for service"
This is a lovely hotel, in a great central location and on the seafront. You can walk along the promenade nearby and near pIgeon rock. It has good security and overall the staff do try to be helpful. Our room was frequently cleaned, well maintained and in a nautical themed corridor. The Mediterranean breakfast was limited but still high quality. Hemingways is a bar with evening entertainment and serves nice snacks. Unfortunately, we had a lot of trouble organising a day trip to Byblos. The receptionist lady said she could sort it out, at any time. The next day we were advised the trip was fully booked so she was going to organise a private driver who was English speaking for the next day. Instead, the next day, the same lady was going to call a public taxi. After a lively discussion, the lady re-phoned the tour company who said you had to book 2 days in advance. They were still fully booked and a private driver was now not available. We were both annoyed and disappointed as we were leaving the following day. After more discussions and phone calls, we did eventually get an English speaking driver. He turned out to be a fantastic man- great driver, very knowledgeable and considerate. Yet we had to really make a fuss and push for this. We should have received better service from a five star hotel, which was disappointing to an otherwise very enjoyable trip.
