"Perfect choice for attending Frankfurt Messe events"
50 meters from the entrance to the Messe. Superb breakfast and excellent rooms. Fast check-in & check out. Friendly staff, ready to advise local restaurants and entertainment in the city. Highly recommendable, good quality/price ratio
"Nothing special and many small misses"
Feels more like a 3 than a 4 star hotel... overall the hotel is fine and it works. Rooms are clean, enough space and services to "tick the box" but it's nothing special. On top we've had a lot of small annoying events all along the way. Service in the restaurant is quite slow, long wait for a simple salad... once they forgot about my drink. Menu has very little selection and everything is on the heavier side. Coffee at breakfast is rather lukewarm than hot. Gym is small and very basic. I guess some guests enjoy watching football matches while eating but if you're not a fan, there's not really any alternative (apart from room service) and it just doesn't feel like a premium hotel... Internet not always working. Reception say they call you back but don't... low water pressure in the shower that suddenly becomes boiling hot... only first world problems you could argue but when you add it all up it doesn't meet 4 star hotel expectations in my opinion.
As every stay at a Mövenpick Hotel, Frankfurt was a memorable on, on a very positive way. From the helpfulness and kindness of staff, to the quiet and confortable rooms. The rooms are spacious and tidy, with everything you need. One of my two favourite chains, and a first choice whenever available.
Let me start by saying that I can't stand Frankfurt, so the fact that the hotel is not right in the middle of the city centre is a huge bonus. I can imagine that it gets very busy during exhibition times, but we visited over Christmas and it was quiet and tranquil. Our room was large, airy and spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. The shower was pure heaven. The Skyline Plaza shopping centre is directly opposite the hotel and houses a few cafes and eateries, which is very convenient if you don't want to pay the exorbitant breakfast prices. The train station is a 5 minute walk away. Equally extortionate were the daily parking costs (60% of the room price), but regrettably this is the norm in Frankfurt. At least the parking garage was akin to the room: large, airy and spotlessly clean. If I have the misfortune to ever come to Frankfurt again, I would want to stay in this hotel.
"Professionalism and quality"
Very close to the center but in a quiet neighbourhood, with a huge shopping center nearby (useful when there is bad weather), good quality food, fitness room is fair and staff is quite nice. Don't have any clue about the price, sorry :(
