The hotel was very centrally located to the places that we wish to visit. And my wife stayed in a premier room costing around £200 for the night. The room itself was very clean, had a pod like area with the shower and the toilet in. The only thing I would mention about the room is that the toilet door and the shower unit door were frosted so you could see the outline of a person in the loo and also the shower door was open clear blue glass. Didn't bother me or my wife but I could see it bothering other people. The bed itself was comfortable but the pillows were in my opinion too hard and would need to have at least one softer pillow. The tea making facilities were okay but they only had to normal teabags the rest of the teabags what all the fancy flavoured ones that I unfortunately don't like, need more normal type teabags. Bearing in mind this is a four-star hotel we opted for the continental breakfast which in my opinion was not up to standard for this type of hotel. I would recommend you go elsewhere for breakfast. If you wish to use the underground carpark for the hotel it is rather expensive at £31. I would recommend using the NCP carpark that for a charge of £14 for 24 hours is a lot better. Me and my wife would definitely stay in the hotel again because of where it is situated, the staff were all very helpful and polite, but we would not have the breakfast again.
"Brighton stay at a modern and comfortable hotel"
We really enjoyed our stay, the room was really comfortable and well designed. Mini bar had lots to offer and before we went out in to Brighton we had cocktails at the bar. Really worth taking up the £10 welcome cocktails offer (emailed offer a week before we arrived) save you on the £18 at the bar.
"Average hotel in great location"
Brighton is a place full of great pubs, bars and restaurants, and this hotel is in a superb location to take advantage of all that. Only a stones throw from the theatre and the Dome too. The hotel itself is a little dated now I think. 15 years ago (or in the late 90s) it would have been seen as very hip. But it just looks a little tired now. The garish colours and basic 'easy jet style' rooms aren't for everyone. That said, reception were friendly and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom facilities are odd (not good if you want privacy!) but we're clean and the shower was good. The minibar was very well stocked indeed, although expensive, as they all are. Lots of tea and coffee to choose from. Wasn't very impressed with the lack of choice on tv. I would stay here again certainly, as although the rooms are not as well put together as I would like, the location is great.
"Gorgeous rooms "
I stayed here for my birthday, it's a gorgeous hotel, the rooms have everything you could need. We upgraded to have a window which had a lovely window seat, which also came with a mini bar. I know they can be expensive but omg £1.65 for a tiny can of Coke. Even had hungover and intimacy emergency pot. Loved the changing of the light on the wall. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very nice, liked the shattered glass effect on the shower door. Good location lots of places to eat and drink nearby.
Brighton is quirkie, the food and beer is good, great clubs.... You must go down to the beech and hit the clubs there, every year we attend a charity event at the Hilton and this is a fantastic place with lots of local businesses attending
