"Quirky but quiet and quite impressive"
If you like old fashioned, brass taps and antiques this will NOT be a hotel for you. If you like contemporary, funky, fresh, clean, bright, quirky, it will hit all your spots. Great central location, very quiet rooms. We had only a standard but it was big, bright, white, overlooked the city. Great bar area - very trendy. We didn't have the expensive breakfast but there are nice italian cafe's only 2 mins away. A great stay and we would return
"Inhospitable, unfriendly, disappointing etc etc"
Very, very disappointed at our most recent stay which will be our last. We arrived in extreme bad weather only to be informed our room was not available and that we should return at 2pm despite the weather conditions. When we returned we were "instructed' how to reach our room and no help offered with bags or directions as to the lift etc. Throughout our stay I felt that there was no hospitality whatsoever - no greetings from reception on leaving or arriving. No communication as to whether we needed anything else. The room was so minimal and faced a wall! The bed ,which my husband fell out of in the night was so small! Only one chair - so impossible to relax - as is the ethos of the hotel or has been in the past. There was a mini bar with all its contents inappropriately and unecesarily displayed on a surface which could have been used for something else as space was at a premium. A bottle of mineral was was 5 times the price of a similar bottle across the road and there was no complimentary water! Although we have stayed here in the past and had exceptional stays this was dreadful experience and I would certainly not recommend. It was most unfortunate as it was for special birthday celebration
"17 jubile street"
We had a great time there! The room are clean and beautiful, the bed so comfortable! Good location, the staff are really kind especially Ivett the waitress who really helpful and always smiling :) Thanks everything!
I spent a few days in heart of Brighton. Me and my friends arrived by car. We didn't know that we can pay for the car park a lot of money. Our rooms were on the first floor. Nice rooms but tired.. coffe spots on the wall and on the carpet too. Its not a 4* hotel. At night we went to Merkaba. Its really good place. In reception there were two nice girls, Maria and ivett. I falled in love both of them! All in all the girls got the 4*.
"Great location - quirky "
Stayed mid. November. Was due to be just me and my hubby but at short notice our little girl came along too. Hotel were fine about this and were very welcoming. Room was relatively small (1st floor) but very quiet. Design was nice but was a bit style over substance, no wardrobe, bedside table and no wine glasses but shower and towels were lovely. Location is perfect and parking just up road at discounted rate. We would have loved to have tried cocktail bar as planned but with our small gatecrasher this was not possible!! We will def stay again next year
