"A little bit would help a lot'"
An absolutely beautiful back drop. The room set up was great. We arrived one week beyond the season, so a bit u usually cold. Otherwise, going outside to get to your room would be just fine. The front desk woman was not wanting to help in local suggestions, but was friendly enough. The wait staff was very helpful. The only option at this time was for the dinner buffet. It was expensive, and the food, sorry, was cold and lousy. Same for breakfast. Too bad, as the setting is fabulous. A bit outside town, so you need a taxi, but didn't find that to be a hardship. Loved Mykonos overall.
Attractive-looking hotel just a few minutes' walk from lovely Agios Stefanos beach. I stayed as a member of a touring group and it was excellent, with lovely food and above-average service. Also an attractive, new building. Rooms varied, but mine was large, with outside sitting space, comfortable bed and huge private jacuzzi. Least good aspect was a dodgy shower. Breakfast was a delight, with attentive waiter constantly topping up coffee. We were on a fixed evening meal menu, but the standard of food was high, whether fish or lamb or whatever. Nice swimming pool, but not as nice as the gorgeous Ag. Stefanos beach. Only drawback is location - too far to walk to Mykonos Town, though public transport is available.
"Perfect place to unwind"
If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place to stay that's a bit off the beaten track then I would recommend this hotel. The rooms are in typically Greek style of building and the reception rooms are light and tastefully furnished with a lovely aspect overlooking the sea. I stayed with a group and the majority of us were very happy with our rooms: mine was light and airy and individually furnished. I used the pool every day and found no issues with cleanliness. I understand that there has recently been a change of management and although the hotel could benefit from better organisation, the staff were always helpful and friendly.
This is my first review on trip advisor and I would normally not bother to complain but this time I felt the need to write to make sure that others do not make the same mistake as we did! My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and we have to say that this was by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. This hotel claims to be 5 stars but the pictures on the hotel's website are false advertisements. This is more like a 3 star at best! The room was poor - the shower was hanging off the wall meaning we had to hold the shower for 2 weeks, the air conditioning did not work properly and at times the room was stifling, our double bed was 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single mattresses meaning the bed fell through in the middle and the outdoor jacuzzi advertised was more like a small bath, which was filthy, and there was no light on the balcony preventing it from being used at night. Breakfast was particularly awful. There was no fresh food and it was the same day after day. Although most of the staff were lovely, there is only so much they can do. It is clear the owners do not wish to spend money or time on the hotel and this shows. Please avoid this hotel if you can!
"Nice hotel, a little off the beaten track"
Stayed here with a tour group in June. Hotel had some plumbing troubles, but I luckily wasn't affected. Facilities were ok, pool could have been cleaned a bit more often....finding a dead gecko in the pool at 3 in the afternoon was rather unpleasant...but rooms are clean, quiet location because hotel is literally at the end of the road. Food was wonderful.
