"Taxi ripped off at Nagaworld"
Outside the hotel you will see taxi's line up, most of the taxi's will cheat you, taxi drivers use damage meters and some force you to pay higher price when you reach your destination, hotel does not care about your complains and just tell you the taxi drivers are like that. Be careful and be alert to check the meter before you leave the hotel. Unlike other hotels they will give you a piece of paper with taxi details and you can complain to the number stated on paper. Be careful of the taxi at Nagaworld.
"Casino Hotel. Okay and comfortable but packed at night"
I might stay again but it is so packed at night with casino players. Room was okay. Huge hotel. There are more relaxing hotels to stay in and a little less open to everyone. Fair bit of smoking, so non smokers beware. Comfortable enough but it is a casino hotel. So they want you gambling so rooms mini bar had nothing in it when I went. Its okay and an experience for sure. Kind of a different world to the reality outside of poverty. Some people will of course love it. But just too busy for me at night with non hotel guests. Not relaxed enough. But if casino's are your thing go for it.
"Definitely not a 5-star hotel"
My partner and I stayed at NagaWorld recently and not likely to return. The room was not 5-star quality. The bathroom was dated and there were cigarette burns on the carpet. When asking the reception to help make a restaurant reservation, the employee seemed annoyed that we were wanting to leave the hotel to eat. When he couldn't reach the restaurant on the telephone, he suggested that we eat somewhere inside the complex. The outdoor pool was lovely, and very quiet. The drinks service seemed lacking - we had to return to the bar to order more drinks. I would describe this hotel as "average-ish"
This hotel is located in good area and its casino hotel. As my trip is with family and my young children. This hotel is not really suggest who come with family due of the Casino is open even child can enter without checking.
"Non smokers stay away"
This is a real chimney hole of a place as smoking is Rampant throughout the property. From the lobby to casino to restaurants to the rooms. I thought the receptionist was joking when he said that there were no non smoking rooms. He was being truthful as guests simply have no regard of non smoking signages or non smoking rooms! On my floor there were a group of Chinese men having a smoke party in their room with their door wide open. I had cig smoke throughout my two night stay coming from the toilet pipes and air vents, all my clothes and hair reeked of cigarette smoke. So avoid this place if you are adverse to cigarette smoke. The hotel Is beautifully decorated and the staff are really polite and efficient. Lots of restaurants offering various cuisine. Lovely roof pool (there's a bar too) on level 9 which offers a great sunset view in the evenings. Buffet breakfast offered a good variety of local and international options at acceptable quality but not 5stars standards. There's a expensive mall of duty free shopping at the basement. What is also lacking is a minimart or shop that sells drinks, snacks or toiletries. I had to buy a can of coke & cup noodles from the street vendors lined outside the hotel. I visited pencil mall which another reviewer mentioned which is 10mins walk away but it was a very small mall offering women's clothing n shoes n bags. Nothing caught my fancy. I would recommend Aeon Mall 20mins walk away which has lots of eateries and a supermarket to get your snacks and drinks. Walking alone along the deserted streets was somewhat unnerving as tuk tuks and motorcycles will stop near u and ask if you'd like a ride. Hotel told me it's relatively safe but be on alert for snatch thieves.
