"Not comfortable for this hotel"
Outlook for this hotel look nice yet very bad inside for room. Currently this hotel under renovation, thus need to go in via beside door. When enter hotel, have security to scan all you bag which is good for security. this hotel not suitable for those not smoking due all smokers will smoke inside this hotel even on lift as well. Inside room looks like old fashion and abit dirty on the toilet door. yet i'm still enjoy TV program for room have alot movie to watch.
"Lousy gambling dent"
Coming for an exhibition to Pnohm Penh i choose it for its close proximity to the Diamond Island exhibition centre. But the hotel is a disappointment. Rooms are run down, smelly, and not maintained , cleaning is rather lousy, and the nearby construction site makes quite some noise, so do the numerous chinese staying there who just cant tone it down had to complain a few times to reception. Walls are thin and you can hear every fart around you. The bathroom is old fashioned with mould and a shower which is rather A trickle. Being a casino hotel each and every time you enter it through a metal scanner and get a pat down thats extremely annoying. Overall its not worth going there unless you are a mainland chinese gambling addict.
"High end hotel...."
One of the high end hotels in phnom Penh which also houses a huge casino and entertainment complex. It's not a cheap hotel but the facilities made up for it as it's got a large range of restaurants and of course the casino itself. Frequented by Cambodians and Chinese (from mainland china) it's facilities are not smoke free which is disappointing especially if you bring children to stay in the hotel. Even the corridors and restaurants are smoking area which means everywhere you go...you are a passive smokers. ....
"A typical casino hotel"
For those who have visited Genting in Malaysia would fine this hotel similar except that the casino at ground level quite a sight. Ushers can be seen drawing the crowds with their untiring smiles. Guests are mostly tour groups from China with some from nearby Vietnam and parts of Asean. Room is reasonably decent and clean though I was there for a night. Crowds in the evening can be quite loud until midnight before dying out a little. For those who are into gaming, this hotel can be for you. I was just checking this place since this is my first visit to Phnom Penh. Hotel is near to the airport except the local traffic can be very challenging. Advise to travel early to wherever you want to go to avoid traffic situations. Breakfast is of a good spread. Asians should have no complaints. Not really suitable for business travellers unless you have time to kill here.
It's like walking into any Las Vegas Casino. Slot machines galore, pretty hostesses everywhere, lots of gamblers. It's always full of Chinese tourists. Many great restaurants and a full service spa on site as well. There is a duty free shopping building up now.
