"Naumi hotel excellent"
Stayed for 5 nights. We used the Naumi as the basis for the start of a sightseeing holiday. Would certainly stay here again and would highly recommend the hotel. Service, cleanliness & facilities were all excellent. We didn't eat in the hotel as we found a cafe nearby that did a full breakfast for both of us at the price the hotel was charging. There are plenty of places to eat locally. The location of the hotel is great for getting for getting out and about, it's at the back of Raffles so very easy to find. The nearest underground station is City hall about 5 mins walk. Worth getting a pass for the number of days that you are there, very cheap and really easy to use. If you are going to the Garedns in the Bay domes take a wrap it was a bit chilly inside them, I hadn't expected that, I thought they would be tropical. A visit to the top of the skypark is a must and the views are amazing. I was a bit disappointed with the water and laser show expected much more, Roth a look if you are in the vicinity at the time of the show but don't expect too much. We did a walking tour of Chinatown, very interesting, our guide was very knowledgeable and we were lucky as we were the only 2 on the trip. Singapore pass is good value for money but make sure you do all the more costly things on the pass otherwise you may as well pay as you go. Loved Singapore and this hotel would go back to both in a heartbeat
We really loved our stay ar rhe Naumi. Well situated great atmosphere fun pool. Friendly and helpfull personel. Nothing negative to say . A place to be recomended. Close to a lot of singapore signature sights. Really enjoyed the relax and smaller desing and atmosphere than a big place. Even the Marina Sand. ( To big for my taste (
Love everything about this hotel, especially the swimming pool, is a must to go with beautiful skyline. The room is clean and cleverly layout with all the necessities we ever needed for a staycation. Will definitely go back again!
"Great location but poorly lit rooms."
The Naumi is across the steet from Raffles on a small back street. This is a great location with a nearby MRT station. Breakfast was provided with my small room and the food was rather good. My rooom was one of the least expensive and rather small but not too small. The room was rather poorly lit as is the case for almost all modern energy saving deigns the days. The lighting was especially bad in the bathroom area. Some things were very badly placed in the room design like the window blinds closing button. Room instructions would have been useful but weren't provided. My wakeup call never came so I had to rush to the airport but that is very easy in downtown Singapore where taxis come almost instantaneously.
It's either a really good 3 star or a slightly underwhelming 4. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt and the 4 but t was a close call. The staff are very nice though probably not quite as on the ball re things to do as you'd get in a great hotel. The rooms are nice - decent size with good ammenities and the roof is a nice touch as well with the pool giving great views of the city. Honestly, we felt a bit ripped off when we were upgraded to a room with a bath that the hotel didn't have enough hot water to fill, but the staff and manager tried pretty hard to rectify things so I'm not too upset. The food is great and location wise you are in a fantastic spot to get around the city easily. The hotel is a safe pair of hands for a boutique at that price in Singapore - but not amazing. I probably wouldn't recommend it for anyone with a baby (but it doesn't profess to be set up for that) and the staff were very helpful in cleaning bottles etc when that clearly isn't a USP of the place. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone flying through for a couple of days though.
