"Last Time for this Hotel"
We had an early flight from Terminal 2 but next time we'll stay at Terminal 1 and take a taxi to our flight. Hotel is difficult to find in terminal and a long way to drag suitcases from the bus. Even at check-in there is no one to help you. Lobby is gigantic, but not particularly warm and welcoming. There was some kind of party going on when we arrived-- it was in a ballroom off lobby and noise was terrible and we couldn't plan to use the restaurant because of the noise. Room was fair -- no full-length mirror and some strange set up with "window" into the bathroom so that if someone goes in there with light on it illuminates the whole room.
"Happy to find a good meal with great service in a hotel"
I had to stay overnight in the airport for a business trip. I arrived in the evening and was happy to find the restaurant still serving. Happily, I got a good meal and great service from my server Gissel. A good experience on all fronts.
"Great airport hotel inside the terminal"
This is a really good overnight option if you are transiting to / from a long flight. It is right inside Terminal 2 and easy to reach from T1 via the Aerotren. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and modern with very good bathrooms and they have good junior suites with separate rooms and pull out bed. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a remarkably good breakfast buffet that would put many smart city or resort hotels to shame. If you are travelling between the terminals, be aware that after baggage claim they don't allow trolleys and to get to the Aerotren in T1 there are steps and an escalator to negotiate! That said the comfort of stepping out in to the terminal rather than waiting for an airport hotel shuttle is priceless and the hotel seems rather better than the other just off airport options. The only negative is that there is essentially no view.
"GOOD FOR A TRANSFER"
We stayed one night and was perfect for rest one night. The room was clean and confortable. We had the breakfast included and was so good with fresh fruit and eggs, bread, coffee. So if you are looking for a place to stay only for transfer or to be close to the airport this is it. You walked from the exit of terminal 2 and the hotel it is inside the building.
"The best restaurant in the airport"
If you need to eat at Mexico City Airport then this is by far the best place. Quiet, great service and wonderful food. We had grilled cactus and cheese starter, snook and steak, and a great apple strudel, all were beautifully presented and well cooked with coffee and drinks for 800$MXN. Highly recommended.
