I stayed here for two nights as I arrived late to Mexico City and departed really early on my departure day. The hotel was easy for that and avoiding city traffic. The hotel was big, spacious, and clean, but didn't have a lot of atmosphere. I dined in the restaurant one night. The waiter had me sign the meal to my room. Two and a half hours later, at 11:00 p.m. after I had been sleeping one hour, the restaurant called to say my tab had been closed at the front desk and they needed to send someone to my room to run my credit card. I explained I was sleeping and would do this in the morning, and they insisted it had to be that night. Because of this, I will never stay there again. What hotel is calling a customer at 11 pm and making them get out of bed to sign a receipt'! The following night I dined at the Toks restaurant in the airport terminal and the food was better. I also used the gym both days at the NH and it was fine.
"Very peaceful atmosphere and a great stay "
We stayed here for 4 days, and from the very beginning we loved it. The service was impeccable, the staff was very friendly, and the hotel even brought a small cake to our room for my son's birthday free of charge.
"THE ONLY GOOD POINT IS DIRECT ACCESS TO THE AIRPORT"
On a trip to Mexico I stayed in this hotel 3 times. Each time was the same. Check-in was so slow, and service in the restaurant was truly awful. It was not only horrendous language issues (mis-hearing Spanish, without asking for clarification - made necessary because our waiter couldn't speak English at all - not a logical hire for an airport hotel). Very few use it, most seem to stay there just for a few hours to sleep. The rooms are OK, but nothing like airport hotel rooms in some other cities. So the only commendations are (1) position, with direct access to the terminal (and the skytrain shuttle to Terminal 1, and (2) the lady that served us on our first check-out who truly got customer service.
"Extremely noisy hotel - Bad customer service"
When checking in, I got a double room with one of those doors giving to the next room. These doors are 100% not soundproof. In the next room was a couple and I heard everything: television, stuff happening in the bathroom, discussions, love making, EVERYTHING. Of course they had an early flight and I woke up with them. If this wasn't enough, the other adjacent room had a guy listening to loud techno music until late at night. Only a call to the reception could eventually stop this. Even the breakfast was medicore. After I told the manager that I spent a really uncomfortable night being woken up all the time by my neighbors, they took my data and told me they contact me again to make it up to me. Until now, nothing so far; still waiting. All in one: I had the worst night for a 200 USD ever in this range of hotels. I can NOT recommend this noisy hotel together with its not service oriented staff. If you have to spend a night in MEX, take the Hilton in Terminal 1. It's a bit older but a LOT better.
"Comfortable layover in T2"
I have stayed in all in-terminal hotels in MEX and this one is probably the better option, but of course the only one if flying in/out of T2. The room was modern and comfortable. The wifi was included and was good. Overall a good option for layovers.
