"Good Hotel for the money with a few customer service issues"
So don't get me wrong, I would stay here again, but on two separate tripsI have had issues. The first time the water shut off. I was in mid-shower when the water pressure started to slowly drop off and then stopped. I used the bottled water in the room to rinse off. I asked the front desk what was going on and they explained that there was a problem with the boiler and they would restore it later, but they would be happy to reduce the room for that night. When I went to check out, no discount. I was late getting to the airport and it was early in the morning, so I decided to write the manager who responded right away who said he would take care of me next time. I have to say I really like the food here. The breakfast is great and the Tortilla Soup at night is great. It is attached to a mall with a couple of restaurants and bars so you don have to go far for a beer or a nice meal (Rustic Kitchen). They have security in the mall and the hotel so I don't feel uncomfortable at all. If you are going to Mexico as a tourist, this is not your place, it is in the wrong neighborhood and far from anything interesting. I picked it because it is near the corporate office for the company I work for. If you need a good place to stay in Tlanepantle, this is your place.
"Great hotel for business travel"
This is our preferred hotel for business travel and so far, so good! The most important part that I look for is safety. As an American blonde woman who travels alone at times, I know that safety can be an issue in some parts of Mexico City. However, I really enjoy that this place is situated in a mall and on the top level. I'm not naive, but I feel safe at the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and I appreciate the bottled water. The wifi works well which is important while on business. The restaurant is good; food is good for breakfast and I've had dinner there many times as well. The gym is small, but it works. The staff is friendly and no matter the check-in or checkout time, someone is there. I will continue to return and will recommend them to others!
"Clean & comfortable"
Conveniently located towards the North side of Mexico City, our company uses NH Valle Dorado exclusively. Why' They are nice and have very high quality service, rooms always clean & comfortable, and excellent restaurant in Hotel. Located safely at top of nice inside shopping mall that has an AT&T store, Starbucks, Subway and a Superama (groceries). The hotel also has good meeting room facilities.
"A nice hotel close to the office"
In the past I've stayed in downtown Mexico City and had a long commute to the office. This time I stayed at NH and had a much shorter trip. The hotel is located in a mall, so there are lots of restaurants just outside the entrance. And the restaurant in the hotel is good too. The rooms have a bit of a European feel - more functional than luxurious, but I liked them. The bathroom was nice, especially the raindrop shower. And the amenities were good. My only issues were minor ones - the walls were a bit thin, so you could hear some noise from other rooms. And the towels were a bit rough, especially for such a nice hotel. I plan on staying here next time I'm in the area on business.
Great staff and a nice location. The room seemed very clean and the wifi was strong enough to get business done. A small fridge to keep items cool would be nice but other than that it was a nice experience.
