This was such a short walk to the metro station although we never used it as walking every where was easy. At the station a grocery store is located and across the street a huge mall. The room is good sized and nice to have a deep bathtub to relax after our 13 Although an ice machine is lacking, we were able to at least get large cups full at the bar. While we were there the elevators would not call up to floor 5 and we reported it but nothing was ever done. We had to walk down 5 floors each time we left our room. Unlike our last hotel stay in Budapest, we had the use of a computer at the consierge when needed.
"NH Hotel Prague - Best location, super food, friedly staff"
Advance location near Prague City Centre. Excellend food. Very friendly hotel staff. Nice and clear fitness centre. Near underground station Andel (yellow line "B") - 3 station to do City Centre only.
We stayed at NH Prague for 5 nights in a family suite. This hotel has modern updates and we were impressed by the cleanliness of our room and common areas. The staff at reception and the restaurants were friendly and had little trouble understanding English. Our room was in the lower building but we did partake in riding the cable car to enjoy the skyline views. We were very impressed with our room and its amenities and had no problem getting a second single bed. We loved the spaciousness deep bathtub and the 2-in-1 laundry machine. We included breakfast with our room and were not disappointed with the variety and quality of the food. The hotel does exit onto a busy street, but it is only a couple blocks to both the tram and subway at Andel.
"Very good hotel"
Nice, modern, clean hotel with great services. But what surprized me that some staff at reception does not speak Czech language. I have not problem with english and it is necesary for foreign guests. But hotel is located in the Czech Republic and this is the first language for this country. It may be little annoying for Czech guests. It is my opinion. I live and work in United Kingdom and I do not speak in czech to my customers. I have to speak english.
PROS: - Modern, sleek, WELL LIT, attractive layout. - Busy but not crowded. I wasn't bumping into people every which way I turned. - Check In is fast even when the line is 10+ - Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable, covers fresh and keep you warm. - Bathroom very nice. Deep tub, great shower pressure, water stays hot regardless of time in use. - Bought into a free breakfast included package. Impressed with variety, options and provisions! Instead of the mainstream powder eggs most free breakfasts include, eggs are fried continuously and omelets are made to order. - They have their own private Taxi service and the prices are fair. - Good location, access to metro, buses, trams, shopping, pubs and restaurants. CONS: - The exit out of the hotel into main streets is SCARY! You walk down into the dark BUS parking lot, continue under a dark, Isolated highway, cross a dark street THEN bam! You've survived to enjoy the general population and city surroundings. - Staff do not appear to be used to a diversity of patrons. Constant Staring, whispering, giggles and not approachable. Curt. No smiles. - No Ice machines. Policy is to request it. Requesting Ice is considered room service and you will be charged. - One soft pillow per person. No extras. Neck & shoulders cramped everyday, most of the day.
