"Great quality, amenities and location "
This is a very good hotel for tourists. Clean, big rooms, friendly staff and a good location. The fitness room on the top floor even has a rowing machine. The pool too is a great option. The location is quite close to the old town, and the Turia metro stop. The staff are very helpful and have good enough English. The only flaw is the expensive fixed price breakfast options, €16 or €18 depending on booking time. Pan & Company is a more affordable option nearby in the Turia Nuevo shopping Center. Coffee and croissant €1.80 for example. Other than this, the hotel is excellent in all respects.
Spent three nights at the NH and overall it was very good. The room was pleasant and comfortable and were lucky in not having another room either side of us. Breakfast buffet was very good, not a huge variety but more than enough and what there was was very tasty. The rooftop pool is a real plus. It's not the biggest but, aside from a couple of times, we had the pool to ourselves and it's just the thing to wind down after a day on your feet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If I came back to Valencia I'd have no problem staying here again
I stayed here due to the hotel saying it had soundproofing. While I couldn't hear the noisy road from 9 floors up, I totally agree with a previous post about furniture being moved about! I thought it was just me! It was going on and on and on for THREE nights! It drove me crazy and I had very poor sleep. I could also hear people walking up and down, up and down in both neighbouring rooms. If this doesn't bother you; the hotel is in a good location, good breakfasts and excellent reception staff. Just don't expect a good nights sleep!
We are here for three nights; two down, one to go! The hotel looks fine, good location, nice room, beds nice and firm. However, you can hear every little thing and this is so much worse at night. On the first night it sounded like furniture removal which went on until about 02:30 - and I had to be up at 06:30 myself. I mentioned it to the front desk yesterday morning and although they were nice and professional, they said if it was another customer, there was nothing they could do. I went out and bought some heavy duty earplugs from the pharmacy across the road. Last night, same thing but I called down at 01:30 and then it calmed down for a couple of hours until an alarm in the room next door went off for at least 20 minutes. We had to call down again. I travel a lot and stay in hotels all over the world and I have only once encountered one as noisy as this (Stone Harbour, New Jersey - beautifully designed but I will never stay there again). I have one more night here and then I am so glad to be going home.
"Standard hotel in Valencia"
Acceptable chain hotel. Still allowing to smoke in some rooms. Smell did arrive to my floor and room. Spacious rooms, free wifi, nice ammenities, expensive minibar, cable tv. I did not try other hotel facilities, like pool and gym. Staff was very kind and helpful. Large selection for breakfast, limited but tasteful for dinner.
