All good, great facilities and nice clean and well appointed rooms - especially the pool villas. Only negative point is that there is no room service after 11:30 at night to solve the midnight munchies!Comment of D. David, Oman the 2015-04-21
"Absolutely stunning view!"
We had a wonderful stay in a private villa with an amazing view directly from our bed. Taking a swim right after you wake up in your own private infinity pool watching the sunrise is an incredible experience! The room was clean, as well as the pool. The service was good, they even surprised me with a chocolate cake for my birthday that I found sitting in a fridge. I really appreciated the thought, just wish they had thought it through considering the fact that upon our arrival they asked us about allergies and I did mention I was allergic to chocolate. Anyway, it was a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent. Their concierge services however, need a little improvement. They were not very helpful recommending us activities to do rather than referring us to the brochures. Also the language barrier is quite palatable. It also seemed they lacked organization between each other as we had to go through several misunderstandings until we got to a solution. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay.
"Holiday in Koh Samui"
Stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Deserves its 5 star rating, but the most impressive thing was the staff!! They were so helpful, cheerful, friendly, and it helped to make our stay there something special! The views you get from the room (sea view), the infinity pools, and restaurant for breakfast are amazing!! Really loved our time here, and we will be back soon!
An amazing resort and in a great location. Rooms are great and views are sensational. Would recommend trying the authentic Thai restaurant in the resort as service and food are great. Two pool bars and the top one is the quietest and bit of hit and miss on the drinks. They run out of mixers and garnish in the late afternoon so what you order may be missing a few things but then again that's life.
"Not bad , not great "
Great reception, staff at the start was amazing. Pool villa was very nice good views, room is very classic slightly dated but still charming ... facing sunrise ... After 1400 you will need to head down to main pool for sun Breakfast is 6/10.. Real let down is waitering in general.. awful. There was no proactive attitude. Staff next to pool gave impression of laziness, didn't give a damn whether you ordered or not. No one approached you for your needs. Towels were chucked at us as though we were just a nuisance. The staff next to the pool just didn't want to be there!!! Then at 1730, a crowd was wondering where the barman was.'' So another staff just said he was off to dinner then made a face at the customers back'' It was awful to witness. The good side is reception and porters were great, smiling helpful... Some of the pool staff needs to be fired .. I would have rated 4/5 but in this competitive business they can raise their game if they just clear out the bad crop ....
"Perfect place for a perfect wedding"
