Anonymous....same as one in casablanca as far as I remember. Pure novotel standard if don't want to have surprises, clean modern and central, but do now expect something exceptional. Few poor choice for dinner, good food, but few choices. One word:fair
"Standard Hotel "
Stayed (Nov 12/13) and found the hotel in a decent location; directly next to the Ubahn (10-15 mins to the Harbour). There isn't much around but given the proximity to the underground it's ok. Guest services was pretty good and the check-in was quick and easy. Only surprise was that parking was €17 per night.
We had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were nice and clean and the location was pretty good, as the U-bahn station was rightoutside the entrance. The breakfast was also really good. The best scrambled eggs I have ever had.

Nice hotel to stay and iT is An One Business hotel . Reception is friendly and understand what is professional I would like to stay this hotel again for an my next business trip . The rooms are clean but they don't filling the shampoos every day in ... there is one think can be mutch better the TV in the room you are not able to use the HDMI.
"Stay at the nearby Novotel Suite rather than here"
I am an Accor gold card holder and a regular user of Novotel, so I know what standards to expect. I also visit Hamburg regularly, and to date have always stayed at the Suite Novotel about 200 yards away from this Novotel. I have always been happy with the Suite Novotel offering, but decided to try the Novotel for a change. Oh how I wish I hadn't. My experience was dreadful. The only upsides vs Suite Novotel were the larger public area of bar and the fact that there is a restaurant for lunch/dinner. Also it is more recently refurbished. For the rest it is all downside. Staff were without exception cold unhelpful and in several instances downright arrogant. I had a genuine complaint about my stay, and the reception staff member would not listen, and kept interrupting me. I asked to see the manager but was told he was not available. I asked for him to contact me later in my 4 night stay, but he never did. I asked for a letter from the hotel reception confirming what they had told me, but they refused to give me one. Attitudes only changed slightly when I said I would be writing a formal letter of complaint, and I was offered belatedly a free drink. The room was cold and the heating didn't work properly. The bathroom was very much smaller than the suitenovotel, and in fact it was so small that it was impossible for 2 people to enter at the same time. The bedroom was much smaller than at the Suite Novotel. There was an absence of mirrors and hanging space.it was badly laid out as a room. The charger for shavers/electric toothbrush was ludicrously located in the hairdryer fitting too far to be easily used. I could go on, but suffice to say it's back to the suitenovotel for me.
