"Could be better"
The hotel itself is pretty well located in the city, the best thing being is just outside the Olaias metro station. What I didn't like was the fact that the bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned in the first day (the toilet was dirty under the toilet seat already), the towels were grey from all the washing and using cycles and for a 4*hotel at least a 500 ml bottle of water should be there on the arrival for each guest. Otherwise the breakfast was plentiful and the staff was very welcoming, extremely helpful and friendly. The reception staff deserves all the credit.
"Good location, good room, sad breakfast"
Good location right next to a supermarket, metro stop and decent Chinese buffet. The room was clean and well appointed. Most recently renovated. Air conditioning wasn't the best but did it's job. The small gift shop had good selection for last minute gifts. The only minus was the poor breakfast. Overall good choice for something not in city center but still very convenient. We took metro to the sights and it was very easy to do so.
"Two stays in one week "
We stayed here on our way to Fatima and again on our way home. First night the room was recently refurbished and was a bit nicer. The second night, the room was a bit "lesser". More of a nice 3 star room. The meals were delicious and the staff couldn't be more pleasant and accommodating. I'd stay here again without hesitation. The Uber to and from the airport is 6 euros. A taxi charged our friend 18 euros. Beware. Also be very careful of pickpockets in town.
"Would stay here again when visiting Lisbon"
We recently returned from a five night stay here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our room was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. We found it very convenient for the metro which made getting into the city centre very easy, and also very simple to transfer there from the airport. We had pre-booked breakfast in the hotel and found the choice excellent. On two evenings we ate in the restaurant and found that good value. Any staff that we had contact with were very helpful, and friendly. Our return flight was in the evening, and the porter kept our bags locked away for us until we returned enroute to the airport.
"Long weekend in Lisbon"
So conveniently placed for the airport. The Oliais metro station is right outside of the hotel. We arrived fair;ly late and chose to have dinner at the hotel. It was very good and for a four star hotel it cost a lot less than anticipated. The buffet breakfast is also very plentiful with a good range of food. The staff speak English and are very helpful and friendly. It is very easy to get into the city from here. We bought a 72 hour transport ticket which more than covered itself. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Only downside was the omission of tea and coffee facilities in the room but don't let that put you off. Should I visit Lisbon again I would not look for another hotel.
