This all-inclusive resort is a 4-minute walk from Museo Maya de Cancún, 5 km from Interactive Aquarium Cancun and 9 km from Wet'n Wild Cancun.
We stayed in the Omni Hotel the best place and beach we ever been to in all these years visiting Cancun. The staff Claudia in check in for members was extra nice and helpfull. Gabi and Oscar in the spa were amazing. All the waiters were very attentive and wonderful. Specially our waiter Roberto Ultz giving us the recepies for their magical super healthy green juice and their wonderful creamy soups. We are going to treasure the days we spent at the Omni Hotel forever. We saw a wedding and it was very pretty decorated and so romantic the staff checked every detail to make the day even more special. We also loved the shows we saw each night for free. The room, the food, the staff and the cleanliness of all the pools etc was amazing. I recommend you chose Omni above all hotels you definetelly get every penny's worth. Loved and will return soon.
"Great time with 30 friends from buffalo "
This our third time at the omni let's start with the bad . The buffet needs a little work . Besides that everything is great. The special restaurants was great . The staff works very hard Antonio ,Alberto and entertainment staff and cleaning people were great thank you will be back just want to add geovani in the lobby bar too . Great job 😎😎
"Omni Cancun = SPOILED!!! ;-)"
This is an amazing, all-inclusive resort that will spoil you rotten! It all starts with a warm reception in a very welcoming lobby. The staff are fantastic, speak great English, and are super accomodating. There are multiple, crystal clear pools and waterfalls, and they even have a pool-bar on the beach. It's location on the beach is also spectacular, the water a beautiful light blue/green/aqua as it crashes ashore. While sunbathing, waiters and waitresses make regular circuits making sure all the patrons have what they need (food, drinks), and will even walk halfway across the resort to get that special quesadilla with steak for you (so you don't have to). There are multiple restaurants and cafes (to include a very good sushi bar) so you will never go hungry or not find something apprealing. The resort also offers multiple events at all hours of day and evening, lime water sports, yoga, live bands, etc... and it also has a really nice gym. The on-site travel agency will take care of your sight-seeing needs and the many on-site concierges will help you with anything else you may need. This is just my suggestion- tip them well. All-inclusive generally means you don't need to tip, but these folks are working their butts off so your stay is as pleasurable as possible. I highly suggest giving a tip at appropriate times.
"Great service, not great food"
Service was amazing. Hotel was newly renovated, clean and friendly staff. Beds a little stiff, but pillows were great. Food at buffets was just ok. Kind of bland and not the best quality. I am comparing this to the buffets at The Valentin Imperial Maya from my previous years stay. Valentin was amazing, fresh, great tasting and lots of variety, so I am comparing the food at the Omni to that. Restaurant food was good at the asian restaurant and just ok at the Mexican. Guac was delicious and drinks were strong. View and convenience of pools to beach to rooms was perfect. Can't say enough about the staff- they were amazing. Rented a Thai bed, it was totally worth the extra money. Wifi was very slow and spotty even in the hotel. Room service charge was $5, which isn't awful but seemed kind of ridiculous in an all inclusive. Would have liked some beer and wine options that were not domestic.
"Again, a perfect vacation at the Omni Cancun!"
This was a repeat stay. Fabulous all inclusive! Beautiful beach and pools, great staff, good food. Worth upgrading to an ocean view room, upper floor. Don't miss the Pina Colada Restaurant on the beach for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The location offers gorgeous views, and the truly amazing staff goes above and beyond to provide a fun, delicious and memorable experience! Huge thanks to Victor, Jose, Jahaziel, Delfino and Chef Waldemar!
