"Old World Charm"
Just arrived back from a 3 night stay at the Pachtuv Palace with our daughter and her husband plus my 3 little grandchildren. We had 2 Garden Suites overlooking the courtyard which had it been summer would have been a nice place to sit in the evenings with a drink. Our suites were really out of this world, four poster bed, sitting area with a small kitchen unit containing mini bar, kettle , hob and coffee machine. My granddaughter staying in our room was fascinated by a roll top desk in another little room that had numerous little drawers and spent each night seated at it writing up her diary. Rooms could have been a little warmer as it was freezing outside but otherwise they were lovely. Had breakfast there every morning and the staff were very accommodating with our requests for the children. Unfortunately our youngest granddaughter become unwell on the second night and my son-in-law had to go down to reception at 3.30 in the morning to ask for clean bedding and mattress as she had been sick over everything. They again rallied round and replaced everything needed, so a big thank you to the staff again. We booked their private minibus to pick us all up from the airport and take us back at the end of our stay. Again excellent service.
"Simply Magical Stay"
I've now stayed with Pachtuv Palace two times and each time is better than the last. This hotel makes me realize what my grandfather used to say about how old hotels had general managers who knew your name and what kind of wine you liked and would cater to your every need. This is a true luxury experience from the entryway to the cigar lounge to the L'Occitane products in the shower. The place is simply gorgoues, private, quiet, incredibly centrally located and overall just a jewel of a hotel. I enjoyed the foot immensely, the cigars in the cigar lounge and the shower is top notch too! If I had to give any constructive feedback I would say the television channels and the wifi speed could be improved but either way both my stays were total 5/5 stars! I will return.
Great food and great service. Had a delicious croque monsiuer and French omelette. Nespresso coffee was lovely and the fresh bread was delicious- complimentary too! The croissants and jam that were in the breadbasket were not however - that was a bit cheeky, but they were delicious and we were given some free fruit which was lovely!
"Wonderful stay - highly recommend!"
Very charming hotel in an ideal location - you cannot be any closer to the Charles Bridge, and are within walking distance of most sights. Our room was stunning, with all the comforts that one could ask for (including a Nespresso machine). The staff are very friendly, courteous, and accommodating. Additionally, we really enjoyed our meals in the Cafe La Creme - highest of compliments to the chef! Would definitely stay at the Pachtuv Palace again in a heartbeat.
"Beautiful hotel and impeccable staff."
This was a magical hotel with a great location right by the Charles bridge . The staff at the front desk, restaurant and bar were excellent and made our stay more special. We loved the courtyard and the cigar room too!
