What can I say, the Panviman is a little piece of paradise nestled in the mountains of Chiang Mai. The resort it beautiful, you can spend a day wandering around the beautiful grounds that include a couple of pools, spa, meditation sanctuary, outdoor games... you won't want to leave !! Initially we were put in a room that was close to some construction noise which we were not happy with ! But once Mr Chalong - Resort Manager found out about this he did everything he could to make the rest of our stay amazing - So amazing that my partner proposed at one of the private pool villa's and the hotel staff could not do enough to make it this full of endless romance ! Amazing stay, pool is fab and relaxing and not over crowded. If you are looking for a secluded paradise it is well worth booking !! Thank you Panviman !!
"Oasis outside of ChiangMai"
Beautiful location, stunning views of the clouds and mountains, top facilities, caring staff...by all means stay here. The only drawback, if you want to visit ChiangMai itself, is the distance from the city. However, for those who wish to have an idyllic get-away, this is an outstanding choice! The grounds were immaculate, too. The swimming pool was lovely.
"little piece of paradise in the CM mountains"
This gorgeous resort is a perfect oasis for some relaxation and pampering. The property is perfectly situated to create the most beautiful backdrop whether you are dining, sleeping, or playing. The rooms and amenities are spot on. Once you have visited the pools, you will not want to leave. They have billiards, table soccer and table tennis, a bit of putting for the golf lover and spa services that you just can't get enough of. GO HERE!
"Beautiful grounds but needs some TLC"
We stayed here for our honeymoon in a jacuzzi villa. There were many pros and cons. Pros: - The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. - Shuttle service available to the old city - The location is breathtaking. And the grounds are very picturesque. - Breakfast included is delicious. - Rooms are clean and well kept. - Amazing pools - Restaurant is reasonably priced and food is decent. Cons: - Even though they are clean, rooms are a bit outdated and need some upgrades. Rooms has really hard beds, ragged towels, stained couches and bedding, old school CD player and sound system, moldy paint on shower ceiling. Still the room appears clean enough and is pleasant to stay in but needs a little care to make it great. - Pools look amazing but are too cold to enjoy. - Activities need some maintenance. Pool tables, ping pong, archery, need to be updated. All are old and worn. - In restaurant I ordered a large wine carafe and the waiter added enough wine for only two glasses. I could've ordered two glasses of wine for cheaper (this is just a personal con) Overall this place is beautiful and staying here is worth it if only for the grounds. In the future I would stay one night. The hotel should find a way to sell day passes for people to enjoy the facility and spa then use the extra revenue to make this place amazing and maintain the grounds. This place is like a natural oasis and has soooo much potential.
"Luxury on outrageously inexpensive tariff"
Set on a hillside and jumping out at you as you drive along Mae rim - samoeng road beyond the multiple tourist attractions. Cost us about 100 US for a standard room, a similar experience in my own country would be at least 500 and probably nearer 1000. Stunning tranquil location with beautiful views Golf cart chauffeur driven everywhere
