Eight of our family stayed here for 4 days over spring break. 12 and two 10 year olds loved the pools, bikes, jet skiing, beach bonfires, walking to Sea World, Uber to Belmont Park & Escapology, proximity to Balboa Park with Air & Space Museum, mini-golf - so much to keep them busy! The adults loved the beauty of the resort for running, walks, poolside refreshments, Tidal & especially Barefoot restaurants. It was a fabulous, memorable vacation. All staff were friendly & accomodating.
Good property! Great weather. We had a nice time staying at paradise point. The food is somewhat pricey and the Cantina was not open one day while we were at the pool. Other than that, everything was great for our vacation!
As others have stated, the rooms are tired and in need of renovation. The resort fees are excessively high for what you get with the fee. Parking fees are excessive. The biggest asset of the resort is the staff. The staff are friendly, helpful, and courteous. If the physical amenities and fees matched the quality of the staff, this would be a fantastic place.
I had no expectations of the hotel, but was overall satisfied with my stay. I liked that the location was nearby other places to eat, entertainment and my gym that I usually workout at. Staff was friendly and helpful.
"Property needs alot of updating and cleaning"
It appears the property is using the location to make up for not investing in the hotel. Pool chairs in very poor shape and tearing. Hot tub is stained and feels gross. Rooms are old and needs a good cleaning. Bathtub was old and rusty. Needs a good landscaper company.
