She is simply the best. First night in another timezone she spent a long time talking with me getting to know me and helping me out. She changed my room so I felt comfortable as I tend to be claustrophobic. After that I saw her a few times and she always asked me how I was and even remembered my name. A star and a true asset to the company. thank you Rosaline, Mary
"Really enjoyed this hotel - a bit of a secret in SF"
This is a very clean, 4-star hotel in an excellent location that is ideal for business meetings or weekend leisure getaways. Room size (king-bedded) was great and a liked the bathroom as well. Nice views from 18th floor with BIG windows. Loved proximity to SF Moma (museum), BART Montgomery Station and Union Sq. I'm sure the folks at Four Seasons were paying at least three times what we were at this great Starwood property. Front desk was efficient and the ability to check bags with valet upon check out to explore the city before leaving was a very nice offering.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel over Presidents Day weekend in 2017. We found the rooms to be very nice and spacious, with large windows overlooking the city. Location is very good. I was a bit bothered by the minimal amenities in the rooms (e.g. no conditioner, only one set of towels) and the steep "resort fee" does not really justify the things that should already be included in a nice hotel (coffee maker, gym). However, the staff made up for any shortcomings. Jonathan at the front desk was very welcoming to us and a pleasure to interact with. The staff at the restaurant, bar and buffet was also very friendly and fun. Overall, it was a fine stay.
"Best of the big business four star hotels in SF"
Stayed here for four nights during the RSA conference which just takes over the entire city. I remember this hotel as a Westin previously and has recently changed ownership (and I say for the better). Was not expecting much as I prefer smaller boutique hotels but was very pleasantly surprise. Room was quiet, great views, good internet speeds and of course centrally located (very close to the Moscone Center). I usually do not eat/drink at hotel restaurants as I prefer to visit local smaller places, however, we had a number of meetings at the hotel restaurant due to the conference. Even though it was busy due to the conference next door, the restuarant and lobby bar were excellent places to entertain/meet with clients. We started off each day with the breakfast buffet (have to love a place that has fresh salmon and smoked trout along with the ususal breakfast items). The manager at the restaurant (Russell Dunkley) was especially gracious/professional and you can that it rubbed off on his staff. Special thanks to the following servers which went out of their way to make me and my clients feel invited/comfortable over the four days. Chris, Cecilia, Walter, Samantha and John. Due to our experience, We will be booking four rooms to stay for next years event.
"Nice, but no room service'!"
I was happy with the accommodations. I travel a fair amount for work and all I ever want is a comfortable bed and clean room. I don't generally get room service, but was one of those nights where I was recovering from the flu and didn't want to go out. I just wanted room service...but NO ROOM SERVICE'! For the price per night of this place ($400 was my rate) I would expect room service. The food at the lounge/bar restaurant in the hotel was not that great either. And lastly, my TV didn't work. I had to get the remote replaced.
